The Government Relations -TL is responsible tolead the team for the day-to-day processing of all transactions relating to visas, permits, licenses and registration while liaising with various government departments and agencies while also maintaining cost efficiency for the firm. The role holder will be responsible for supervising other team members and PROs to ensure efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Government Relations team to ensure that all Government related requirements related to the employee base are managed effectively and within agreed SLA's.
Be knowledgeable of the UAE's Labour laws and procedures within Immigration and Ministry of Labour in order to process the required documents.
- Plan, prioritize and allocate work assignments to the PR team, and monitor their performance to ensure the quality and timely execution of tasks.
- Ensure timely completion of visa processes against agreed SLAs for clients and their dependents whilst providing regular progress updates to the PRO unit and HRBPs. Ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and be the point of contact for any escalated cases.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Immigration, TAMM and other government services centres.
- Support with TAMM, CICPA, ADPF, MOFA attestations, Trade License Renewals, Other government transactions.
- Take full responsibility of all Immigration issues and operations, remaining up to date with any changes to legislation
- Manage communication with clients and employees.
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
- Must be motivated, energetic, and able to work as a part of a team.
- Good communication and negotiation skills as the job is centered on communication with the client, colleagues, and government authorities.
- Must be able to work on tight deadlines even when under pressure, whilst still being able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and any other software related to Visa and Immigration Consultancy.

• Escalate 'when needed' if employee fails to provide required documents to comply with ADEK PASS system/KHDA, MOHRE, ICP and other regulatory bodies requirements.
