The Role

Role Overview:

The Ground Services Equipment Operator is a vital member of our airport team, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground.

This position involves operating technical equipment, providing services to business jet flights, and working individually or as part of a team to achieve our goals.

1. Conduct thorough inspections of ground service equipment to guarantee its serviceability, cleanliness, and safety.
2. Adhere to all safety standards during operations and tasks.
3. Perform multitasking activities such as positioning chocks, cones, marshalling, handling deadload aircraft, washing aircraft, monitoring refueling, and operating qualified equipment.
4. Arrange required equipment at staging areas before aircraft arrival/departure.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Ground Services Equipment Operator in an airport environment, including ramp/apron driving.
• Completion of Grade 10 with courses in Mathematics or General Sciences; preferably a High School Certificate or Diploma in Aviation or Business Administration.
• Valid UAE driving license is required.
• Possession of an airport driving permit/license from a recognized airport is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of different aircraft types.
