**Position Summary**
The **Blade Repair Technician** is accountable to complete tasks as assigned by the Workshop Supervisor / Production Manager
**Main Responsibilities**
Quality, Safety and Environment
1. Ensure work performed on assigned rotor blades is conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Actively participate in company OH & S program and company safety management system.
Commercial Management
1. Perform maintenance on components including but not limited to the repair of helicopter rotor blades to agreed timelines.
2. Ensure the workshop supervisor is advised of any spare's requirements in the correct timeframe to meet project deadlines.
3. Record work performed in work packs for assigned projects and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements.
4. Record daily hours and take action as directed to correct or prevent over-runs.
5. Inform the supervisor of any additional work requirements over and above what has been quoted in order to inform and gain customer approval
Sales and Customer Management
1. Provide regular feedback to the Workshop Supervisor or Production Manager on progress of planned maintenance.
2. Provide input into response to customer queries and complaints.
Regulatory and Compliance
Ensure maintenance performed on rotor blades is conducted in compliance with the Civil Aviation regulations.

- Assist in the development, implementation, and update of the section related policy, procedures manual, delegation of authority, systems user manuals, and standard forms, and ensure alignment with ADAA’s overall policies and procedures.

- Provide effective first line interface with users seeking IT support through receiving calls, emails and service desk tickets, record and track requests, incidents and complaints and ensure to keep callers end users updated on request status and progress.
- Identify internal end-user and external stakeholders’ requirements on technical support and information respectively and ensure to study their expectations and follow the designed framework for meeting these requirements.
- Conduct analysis of incident records and classify incidents, match against known errors and problems and assess related configuration details to provide ongoing support.
- Maintain logs for rapid and effective response/resolution for major or high and advise users of actions to be taken.
- Assist users on systems, products and services which are available to end users and provide information on updates, known errors, changes in availability, new facilities etc. to assist users in making more effective use of desk-top systems, products, and services e.g., self-help portals.
