Job OverviewThe Senior Hardware Technician / Hardware Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end hardware lifecycle in project implementations, including identifying and testing components, on-site installation, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role acts as a key liaison between the software procurement and project teams to ensure seamless hardware compatibility, performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Hardware Planning & Procurement Coordination
- Support identification of hardware components required for project implementation in coordination with the Software team.
- Communicate hardware requirements to the Engagement Manager for procurement planning.
- Liaise with Procurement Specialists to support sourcing, logistics, and timely delivery of hardware.
- Hardware Testing & Quality Control
- Test and evaluate all received hardware components to verify accuracy, compatibility, and quality.
- Collaborate with the Software team to conduct joint product simulations and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Installation, Integration & Troubleshooting
- Perform hardware installation and configuration at client or project sites.
- Participate in on-site simulations, unit testing, bug testing, and integration testing alongside the Software team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during implementation.
- Training & Technical Support
- Conduct technical training sessions for local partners and client representatives on hardware systems.
- Provide post-installation support, including routine maintenance and issue resolution, in coordination with support teams.
- Maintenance & Product Optimization
- Carry out ongoing maintenance to ensure hardware performance.
- Document and implement hardware modifications based on feedback and requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- Other Duties
- Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors or project leadership.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
