We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Consultant Hematologist with a dedicated focus in Transfusion Medicine to join a prestigious tertiary-care center in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic services in hematological disorders and oversee safe, efficient transfusion practices in alignment with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with benign and malignant hematological conditions (e.g., anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, coagulopathies)
  • Supervise and optimize blood bank operations and transfusion protocols, including compatibility testing and inventory management
  • Lead apheresis, plasma exchange, and cellular therapy services (if applicable)
  • Guide clinical staff on transfusion guidelines and support management of transfusion reactions
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory medicine, oncology, and bone marrow transplant teams

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent), with completed residency in Internal Medicine or Pathology
  • Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Hematology and/or Transfusion Medicine
  • Board-certified (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Canadian FRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience, including recent consultant-level practice
  • Eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Consultant classification
  • Proficient in English (Arabic is a plus)

  • Experience with stem cell transplantation, immunohematology, or hemovigilance systems

Job Description

Key Account Manager in Hematology and Nephrology

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, present information to physicians and other healthcare professionals, and drive sales growth in hematology and nephrology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing strategic account plans, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities within the territory.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Growth Strategy: Develop and execute plans to drive sales growth in hematology and nephrology, including identifying new business opportunities and capitalizing on existing ones.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Provide product education and support to healthcare providers, ensuring optimal use of our solutions and maximizing patient outcomes.
  4. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
  • University degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a related field.
  • Residency in UAE with transferable residency and a valid driving license.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a commercial/access position in a multinational biopharmaceutical company.
  • Experience working with hematologists and/or nephrologists is mandatory.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience negotiating prices and conditions with hospital pharmacists and key budget holders.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging assignments.
