Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to take on the role of Restaurant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and expand customer database
- Maintain high standards of restaurant operations in line with industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and health codes
- Lead and motivate bar staff during shifts and events
- Hold employees accountable for maintaining uniform and grooming standards
- Provide clear communication and feedback to staff
- Monitor department performance and maintain inventory levels
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue through events
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and monitor quality of service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Instruct staff in ongoing training and development
- Coordinate menu sponsorships and product placements
- Serve as liaison between departments for maintenance and property upkeep
- Conduct employee interviews and provide performance feedback
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred
- 2-3 years' experience in Food and Beverage management, including senior leadership roles
- Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain and/or maintain government required licenses, certificates, or permits
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, health department rules, liquor laws, and bar operations
- 1-2 years' experience in public contact positions, preferably in an upscale hotel environment
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high-level attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments
- Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote teamwork
