Job DescriptionAs a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel. This includes assisting with daily cleaning tasks, preparing rooms for guest check-in, and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet our high standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and special facilities such as gyms, pools, and event spaces.
- Supporting the team by preparing rooms for guest check-in, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities.
- Assisting in the quick and efficient turnover of guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness standards are met before check-ins.
- Assisting in stocking and organizing housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and materials.
- Participating in daily team briefings to understand the workflow and any special tasks for the day.
- Learning the importance of timely guest service by responding to housekeeping requests and delivering extra amenities as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to address guest concerns and requests.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and math abilities used often when reading room assignments, completing checklists, replacing room linens and amenities.
- The ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and to push/pull medium to large weights/objects, frequently standing up and moving around the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling.
- A flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
