- Record guest preferences and special occasions in 7Rooms and communicate them to the team during briefings.
- Keep managers informed about any delays or wait times so service recovery gestures can be offered when needed.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and explaining menu or payment procedures.
- Check tables during service to confirm guest satisfaction and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Maintain constant communication with the restaurant manager to update seating plans in real-time using 7Rooms.
- Balance reservations and walk-ins efficiently, providing accurate wait time estimates and managing no-shows with flexibility where possible.
- Optimize seating to achieve target average table times without compromising the guest experience.
- Assist with setup or reset of tables when required.
- Keep the host station tidy, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after service.
- Mandatory: Currently residing in Dubai.
- Mandatory: Experience in an Italian restaurant or Italian-inspired outlet.
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess in a fine-dining or high-end restaurant preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in 7Rooms or similar reservation management software preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a guest-first mindset.
