The Culinary Coordinator plays a vital administrative and operational support role within the culinary department. This position ensures smooth coordination between the kitchen, purchasing, stores, and service teams, while maintaining documentation, communication, and compliance with hotel standards. The role involves organizing culinary schedules, assisting with menu updates, coordinating training, and supporting the chefs with day-to-day requirements, contributing to the efficient functioning of the culinary operations.
**Your day to day**
**1. Administrative Support**
+ Prepare and maintain kitchen-related documentation including duty rosters, attendance, training records, HACCP checklists, and kitchen reports.
+ Assist chefs in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for culinary operations.
+ Maintain recipe cards, food cost sheets, and ensure menu updates are documented and communicated to relevant departments.
+ Handle correspondence for the Executive Chef including emails, memos, and inter-departmental communications.
**2. Coordination & Communication**
+ Act as a liaison between the culinary team and other departments such as purchasing, finance, HR, and service outlets.
+ Coordinate internal meetings, menu tastings, and culinary events, ensuring proper communication to all concerned teams.
+ Follow up with suppliers and purchasing teams for timely delivery of requested kitchen items.
+ Support the coordination of banquet and event orders (BEOs) with the banquet kitchen and service teams.
**3. Training & Development**
+ Maintain culinary training records, including attendance, certifications, and progress reports.
+ Assist in arranging culinary workshops, cross-training, and skill-development sessions for kitchen colleagues.
+ Ensure all new hires receive proper kitchen orientation materials.
**4. Operational Assistance**
+ Monitor kitchen inventory levels by coordinating with storekeepers and chefs for stock requirements.
+ Prepare purchase requests and follow up on approvals as per hotel policy.
+ Support the culinary team during large-scale events by assisting with organization and logistics.
+ Help monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards through documentation and reporting.
**5. Guest & Event Support**
+ Assist in organizing special culinary promotions, theme nights, and events in collaboration with F&B and Marketing teams.
+ Support guest engagement activities such as chef's table experiences, cooking classes, and special menu launches.

**Your day to day**
**Working as a** **Revenue Manager,** **you will ensure all team members are trained and maintaining Holiday Inn's brand service style and behavior; you will ensure that all the revenue channels are optimized to maximize the opportunities. You'll have ambition, talent, and some essential skills. We're seeking someone passionate about creating great guest experiences for this vital role.**
**A little taste of your day-to-day:**
+ **Develop and implement pricing and inventory strategies to maximize revenue.**
+ **Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns.**
+ **Prepare accurate forecasts and support commercial planning.**
+ **Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations to optimize results.**
+ **Ensure compliance with IHG revenue management systems and practices.**
+ **Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.**
**What we need from you**
**Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:**
+ **Proven experience in Revenue Management, preferably in hospitality.**
+ **Preferably with IHG brand experience.**
+ **Currently based in the UAE.**
+ **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.**
+ **Proficiency in revenue management systems and Microsoft Excel.**
**Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate insights effectively.**

Night Manager Responsibilities

We like to lead from the front. So, we’re looking for a Night Manager who sets their own high standards across everything from cleanliness to productivity. You’ll champion our ‘one team’ approach to make sure you and your team deal effectively and efficiently with all guest complaints, queries and suggestions.

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations
  • Prioritising workload and ensuring your team deliver authentic, memorable experiences
  • Developing your team’s skills to drive results that positively impact on hotel performance
  • Having authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns

Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • 2 years’ front desk/guest service leader experience
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Other languages may be preferred
  • Basic mathematics skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills
  • Long periods of standing in the front desk areas and occasional lifting of heavy items
  • Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera beneficial
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends

Job Scope:
  • Source and evaluate hotel properties to identify potential partners that meet company standards and client requirements.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with hotels to secure competitive rates, special offers, and value-added services.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the hospitality sector.
  • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for cost savings and enhanced value for the company.
  • Monitor hotel performance and client satisfaction to ensure contracted services meet expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, acting as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters.
  • Collaborate with hotels to address and resolve any operational or service issues.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand client needs and tailor hotel offerings accordingly.
  • Handle hotel-related inquiries and create ad-hoc quotations for FIT and group series.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of all contracts, agreements, and communications with hotel partners.
  • Generate regular reports on contract performance, supplier activities, and market trends for senior management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure all hotel contracts comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to contract fulfillment.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • Degree in tourism, hospitality management, or something similar.
  • +5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding hotel contracting, pricing strategies for different markets, and supplier relationship management.
  • Deep knowledge of the hotel ecosystem in Abu Dhabi and the surrounding region.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and conditions.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, highly organized, and flexible.
  • Customer-centric.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ethics, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Experience with global hotel chains and independent properties.
