Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **HSE Engineer** to join our team! In this role you will get to **provide a** **dvise and assists Project and Construction Management in the formulation, implementation, and management of major project safety plans.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Advises and assists the most senior construction site representative in the establishment and management of ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes, identifying and eliminating/controlling any hazards to persons and property.
+ Audits and Inspects the job site to detect and correct safety hazards.
+ Supervises first aid personnel in providing first aid care of occupationally injured or ill personnel.
+ Audits the job accident records and periodically prepares an audit report of these records.
+ Initiates and conducts accident investigations and prepares job accident reports.
+ Represents management during safety inspections of the job site by regulatory authorities or company insurance carriers.
+ Receives, reviews and distributes safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions.
+ Provides oversight to the new hire safety orientation process and other safety related training.
+ Conducts risk assessments for upcoming work and provides technical assistance to the safety planning process.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent in safety, health, and environmental/loss prevention or **any relevant engineering disciplines** from an accredited university.
+ With recognized Health and Safety education, certifications (ADVETI), ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, license or training in UAE (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, ADOSH SF-OSHMS Practitioner A or B, Audit ISO Qualifications, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
+ **Minimum 12+ years** of construction supervision experience; out of which at least 8 years in a Senior Supervisory role.
+ Must have experience working in an engineering consulting firm

+ Manage the health, safety and environmental arrangements for the project against the WSP HSEQ / client HSEQ Management System requirements, to ensure the protection of our people.
+ Manage HSE Inspectors to ensure they are monitoring the implementation of health and safety arrangements at project site level, in accordance with legal and client requirements.
+ Develop and deliver health, safety and environmental training to WSP employees including but not limited to; induction, safe working practices.
+ Review and approve contractor's health, safety and environmental plans, risk assessments and method statements against legal and client requirements prior to the work being carried out.

+ Organise HSE meetings with clients, WSP project staff, and contractors.Initiate and test emergency response plans and ensure the drills are carried out as per the project schedule and performance standards.
+ Ensure HSE Inspectors follow up on contractor's incident investigation reports are completed and corrective actions are identified and closed out to prevent a recurrence and provide necessary technical guidance for accident protection.
+ Conduct regular site safely reviews.I liaise with enforcement authorities (PCFC, EHS Checks)I prepare and submit monthly HSE reports in conjunction with contractor personnel and to the client.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence.
+ Proficiency in English.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant subject.

We are seeking a qualified HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across our UAE-based construction projects. Required Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- UAE Government Certifications
- Active membership in the UAE Society of Engineers (S.O.E).
- Trakhess Approval (Green & Orange) – to manage both routine safety tasks and high-risk operations.
- Local municipal certification (e.g., Dubai Municipality Engineer Approval (minimum G+1) or Dibba Municipality Approval (for Fujairah-based projects)) – to comply with emirate-specific HSE regulations.
