Job Title: Safety Engineering Manager

A leading provider of industrial automation test and measurement information systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Engineering Manager to join our team.

This role involves leading the detailed engineering design, assembly, and testing team of various Safety Instrumented Systems as per project specification requirements.

The successful candidate will have a degree in an engineering field preferably in instrumentation, electronics, or electrical, with minimum 08 years experience in the field of instrumentation and control and safety systems.

• Lead the Safety System Engineering Team in a project.
• Reviewing project technical requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Preparing and reviewing work procedures and hardware/product specifications.
• Reporting to the Project Manager on day-to-day activities.
• Performing and reviewing the detailed engineering design, assembly, and testing of the system as per project specification requirements.
• Preparing and reviewing Bill of Material for various Safety Systems.
• Coordinating with Customer Engineers for technical issues.
• Preparing and reviewing Purchase Order for various Projects Materials.
• Assisting the Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer as and when required for technical issues.
• Preparing Safety Validation Plan for Safety Projects.
• Coordinating with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities.
• Arranging Internal Meeting/Project walk-through for achieving Project milestones.
• Project Progress Monitoring and control.
• Participating in site acceptance test commissioning and startup activities.
• Adhering to the Project Schedule & Project Quality Plan.
• Preparing scope of work deviations and tracking.

• Degree in an engineering field preferably in instrumentation, electronics, or electrical.

• Safety Training B Certificates.
• TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (preferable).

Minimum one of the following certifications:

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent (subject to ADNOC Group approval)
• Other HSE certifications as considered by ADNOC Group discretion (mandatory)
• Lead Auditor qualification in ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent.
• Certified in Incident Investigation techniques.
• Additional HSE trainings/certifications are considered a strong advantage.

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of HSE experience in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects or operations within the oil & gas or petrochemical industries is preferred.
