The Pre Sales Engineer is key a role directly reporting to Domain Leader – HVAC. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for Install division segment of Building Technology and Solutions with focus on HVAC Systems.
You will be supporting sales team in application specific jobs and product information. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation.
How you will do it
As a Pre-sales engineer you will use your in depth knowledge of HVAC Systems to complete bid/proposals and meet the specifications set out by the customer. This will involve preparing RFI’s, attending site surveys, bid-clarification meetings, seeking quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors, estimating in-house product costs and estimating costs for engineering, labor and project management. You’ll manage multiple tenders simultaneously, using your extensive estimation experience to co-ordinate with the client on specifications and technical clarifications ensuring we submit proposals that are competitive, meet requirements and are on time.
As an Experienced Pre Sales Engineer, you need to have a good knowledge in designing and estimation of HVAC system solutions involving Chillers, AHU, FCU systems.
As an HVAC solution specialist, you will be leading the peer-to-peer meetings with Operations; Procurement, commercial team and other internal stake-holders as necessary to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline, and customer requirements are complied as part of the solution proposed to the customer.
