**POSITION OVERVIEW:**
Working within the Project Management and design delivery Team, the overall responsibilities and duties under this role are to manage design operation, coordination with Client and statutory authorities. To guide, recommend, advise and instruct the technical teams in executing their duties. Also, providing leadership and technical excellence to set up the required delivery tools, systems, processes, and procedures required to support various PMO's & PMC's under delivery in the region. The position will ensure, plan, coordinate and provide support & guidance to our technical delivery teams, while continuously improving organizational performance across the business. Moreover, advisement on technical, design obstacles/limitations, constructability issues, design changes that align with the program requirements and the general program vision and scope.
Determines methods and solutions for complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives. Applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Lead the design team in the development of in all aspects of infrastructure design services.
+ Manage the design process from concept to completion up to Tender stage.
+ Get support from the Technical Excellence team on design standards and guidelines.
+ Create and manage design briefs and timelines
+ Monitor and evaluate design trends and technologies
+ Ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget.
+ Present design to stakeholders.
+ Manage design resources and assets.
+ Develop and implement design strategies.
+ Analyze customer feedback and adjust designs accordingly
+ Collaborate and communication with the project teams and stakeholders throughout the design process.
+ Manage and monitor change management and risk management.
+ Develop project design delivery program and resources plan.
+ Exercise internal design coordination and secure quality management and control
+ Review of developed design reports, specs, drawings, and final documents for clients
+ Interface management among all discipline involved in Design delivery.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ BSC (Civil engineering) from an accredited University, along with professional certifications
- Minimum 15 years **relevant** experience in Roads and infrastructure design
- Design of infrastructure projects within a Consulting environment.
- Extensive experience in Design Management and Project Management of Master plans and mix-use development in Mena region
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft project
- Knowledge is Primavera and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Knowledge in Esri GIS
- Knowledge in Bentley software's
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Prior experience in leading multi discipline teams and facing clients.
- Knowledge in BIM for roads and infrastructure.

**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled **ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer** to participate in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects for clients across the GCC. The ideal candidate shall possess expertise in planning, designing, and engineering ICT and field communication infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on delivering innovative, cost-efficient, and regulation-compliant solutions.
This role requires design experience in ICT civil infrastructure and site-wide connectivity solutions, along with a deep understanding of **Fiber Distribution** , **Security infrastructure,** and **ICT capacity planning** for large-scale projects.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Develop ICT engineering calculations and Design drawings, technical specifications, using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
+ Participate in the development of active and passive ICT networks, OSP, fiber backbones and site- wide connectivity solutions
+ Collaborate with senior design engineers and internal teams to integrate ICT infrastructure design into the overall project design and deliverables
+ Prepare comprehensive design documentation and schematics, including Concept, Detailed Design, and Tender documents
+ Prepare technical reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and design NOC
+ Develop cost-effective and scalable network infrastructures
+ Coordinate with Civil Infra, landscape and utilities teams for civil works of ICT containment, poles and duct works of ICT and Security systems

**Key Skills** :

+ Stay abreast of the latest developments in ICT technologies and trends
+ Extensive knowledge of UAE/GCC telecom, ICT and security codes and regulations

**Qualifications**

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Minimum 10+ years of related work experience in **infrastructure and lighting design** (eg, Streetlighting, Architectural lighting, LED retrofit)projects.
+ Demonstrated effective managerial capability on engineering/construction projects
+ Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) registration or other similar professional organizations is preferred.
+ **Registered as practicing engineers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or should have an equivalency certificate.**

ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to the construction team and produces any electrical design that arise during construction work.

In this role you will provide technical support to the design and construction teams across roads, tunnels, bridges and utility projects. Your role will integrate directly with quality management processes to safeguard performance and durability of all infrastructure elements.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Provide technical support to both design and construction teams.
- Review design documents from a materials perspective to ensure best practice applications are being implemented.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards (e.g. ADQCC, ASTM, BS, AASHTO), and project specifications.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—design engineers, supervision teams, PMC/RE, suppliers, contractors—to address material-related issues and streamline approvals.
- Support sustainable practices by recommending environmentally friendly materials and testing methodologies, and stay abreast of the latest innovations in materials engineering.
- Update and develop technical materials specifications.
What required skills you’ll bring :
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering , with minimum 8 years of design experience in materials and quality control for infrastructure projects—particularly roads, bridges, tunnels, and utilities . Regional (UAE/GCC) experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ADQCC, local Abu Dhabi standards, and relevant international codes (ASTM, BS, AASHTO), plus experience handling materials under Abu Dhabi municipal specifications (e.g., DMT, ADM, AACM, DRM).
- Experience with design and construction of complex infrastructure projects with focus on materials and technical specifications, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly and manage multiple project priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and resolve material-related and specification issues collaboratively across project phases.

**Job Description**
This role will be responsible for managing the design of civil infrastructure works across medium to large scale development projects in Middle East. This includes managing multidisciplinary design teams, coordinating with stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring timely delivery of design packages.
1.Manage the infrastructure design across all project stages (from master planning to IFC stage).
2. Coordinate with master planners, architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated infrastructure solutions. Lead and drive the coordination amongst the stakeholders
3. Review, monitor, and manage the design deliverables of internal teams and/or subconsultants for roads, utilities (water, wastewater, power, ICT), structures, marine and public realm infrastructure.
4. Good understanding of engineering disciplines involved in infrastructure design covering utility networks, pump stations, process plants, roads, bridges and other structures.
4. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., MOMRAH, NWC, SEC, SWCC, Royal Commissions etc.) and applicable international standards.
5. Manage design schedules, deliverables, risk, and interface coordination with multiple stakeholders, including the client and contractors.
6. Participate in design reviews and value engineering workshops. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff and discipline engineers.
7. Interface with project controls and commercial teams to ensure design progress aligns with program and budget.
8. Support permitting, approvals, and coordination with local authorities. Ensure design is aligned with sustainability, resilience, and digital infrastructure goals (where applicable).
9. Ability to liaise with client representatives and discuss engineering solutions in detail as required.
**Minimum Requirements:**
Minimum 10 years' experience in Infrastructure Design.
Experience in large scale projects ideally in KSA.
Chartered Status / Professionally recognized.
Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Engineering discipline. (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc.)
