Job Description

You will be supporting a client in the energy sector with a strategic innovation project. The project focuses on running structured innovation challenges, ideation workshops, and problem-solving hackathons to help embed a culture of innovation at all levels of the organization and unlock growth and efficiencies through innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a member of a consulting team leading the implementation of a structured innovation program
  • Support the rollout of workshops and innovation sprints focused on ideation and business casing
  • Communicate findings through structured storytelling and visual tools
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions
  • Help train a small internal group of “innovation champions” within the organization

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 3–8 years of experience in consulting, preferably with exposure to:
  • Energy / resources sector

JOB PURPOSE

  • To support the MD in all aspects of the business and strategic management ensuring effective management of the business. This includes working with the MD’s Executive Committee to ensure that requests from the MD are delivered.
  • The role holder is responsible for all MD staff related activities e.g. design of key reports/ presentations/ templates, communications, office management and project tracking/reporting.

  • Collaborate with other business units in management information reporting.

Execution

  • Work with Executive Assistant to the MD to ensure accuracy of calendar, review mail and draft responses as appropriate, or forward to the appropriate person for response and/or reply.

  • Oversee business-wide initiative coordination regarding strategic initiatives.
  • Critical issue management and follow up with businesses and support functions on behalf of the MD.
