• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the UAE is preferred
• Knowledge of local building regulations and standards is a plus

The HSE Inspector is responsible for monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring the proper use of PPE, and promoting a safe work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective actions.

• Assist in emergency response drills and first aid coordination.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in HSE inspection.
• Strong understanding of local HSE laws and international safety standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Inspector to join our team. As a Civil Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required quality standards.

Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough inspections of construction work, analyzing codes, standards, and project contract documents, and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance.

You will also be responsible for providing general inspection services, verifying equipment settings, alignment, testing, and energization requirements, and maintaining records of contractors' human and equipment resources.

A key aspect of this role is to undertake site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.

In addition, you will liaise with contractors, prepare daily reports, and follow up on any site instructions made by senior engineers.
