Position Overview:
The Head of School is the academic and administrative leader responsible for implementing the school s vision and mission managing faculty and staff ensuring IB program fidelity and upholding academic excellence and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the school s strategic goals.
Promote a strong IB ethos aligned with the school s mission and vision.
Oversee curriculum planning and delivery.
Drive innovation in teaching and learning methodologies.
Recruit retain and develop a high-performing team of educators and administrators.
Conduct teacher evaluations and provide professional development aligned with IB pedagogy.
Create a safe inclusive and nurturing environment for students.
Support holistic development in line with IB learner profile attributes.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Represent the school in public forums and build relationships with the community.
Develop and manage the school budget in coordination with the finance team.
Oversee infrastructure admissions events and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master s degree in Education or related field.
IB leadership training.
Minimum 20 years of experience in education with at least 10 years experience in IB.
5 years experience in IB school as Principal.
Proven experience with IB authorization and evaluation processes.
Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead in multicultural and international contexts.
IB workshop leader examiner or school consultant experience.
Experience in handling all three IB programs (PYP MYP DP) and IGCSE.
Familiarity with international school accreditation standards (e.g. CIS NEASC).

About You
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented?Examinations Officer?to join our team in August 2025. This pivotal role is responsible for the efficient planning and delivery of all internal and external examinations, including iGCSEs, GCSEs and AS/A2 levels, as well as national agenda assessments. Working closely with the leadership team, staff, and examination boards, the Examinations Officer ensures full compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and timescales. The successful candidate will manage exam timetabling, secure storage and handling of papers, access arrangements, data entry, and communication with students and families. Strong administrative and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
In Relation To Students
- All external examinations including GCSE and GCE for the Winter and Summer seasons of each academic years
- To assist the SLT to issue GCSE and GCE examination results on Summer Results Days
- To process all students in all subjects for Estimated Entry for each exam session, liaising with appropriate SLT and HoYs
- To process all students in all subjects for Full Entry for each exam session, liaising with appropriate SLT and HoYs
- To assist students with any questions they may have regarding examination issues
- To distribute all examination material, including curriculum updates, subject specific information sheets, mark schemes and examiner’s reports, coursework record sheets and actual examination papers, to SLT and HoDs
- To distribute publications booklets to SLT and HoDs and to co-ordinate purchase and payment
- To liaise with Director of Ace in applying for special requirements or consideration and informing exam boards of centre-based extra time allowances
- To oversee HoDs arrangements for external moderation where needed
- To provide information for HOYs of Sixth Form and Year 11 regarding I/GCSE and GCE issues To assist staff with any questions they may have regarding examination issues

- To liaise with the exam boards i.e. Pearson Edexcel, Oxford AQA and Cambridge International
- To liaise with the examining board accounts departments regarding invoicing, examination and moderation fees
- To apply for examination timing changes and changes due to examination clashes to the exam boards
- To process all post-result issues (access to scripts, clerical checks and remarks) ensuring correct paperwork is provided for students, parents and exam boards
- To process late entries, tier changes and student detail changes
- To process and return predicted grade sheets
- To process and secure examination stationary as it arrives in centre
- To process and secure examination papers as they arrive in centre
- To ensure that the Admin team have set-up examination room with all required seating, labelling, stationary, communication, regulations, attendance registers, seating plans and examination papers for each examination session
- To ensure security of all exam material, before and after each exam
- To package and process exam scripts after each examination
- To package and process coursework by the required exam board deadline date
- To co-ordinate with the Accounts Department and examination boards the payment of all external examination related fees
- To keep a central record in the examinations office of all correspondence between the school and the external examination boards
- To prepare timetables for external invigilators as and when appropriate
