Investment Management Analyst
will work closely under the guidance of the Director – Investment Management to assist in originating, analysing and structuring investment opportunities across several asset classes. Your Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of private market investments across real estate, private equity, infrastructure, and collectibles.
  • Monitor economic trends, regulatory developments (e.g., MiFID II, DFSA, FSRA), and capital market activity to support informed investment decisions.
  • Manage issuer relationships, including negotiating listing contracts, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and operations.
  • Manage and monitor investment portfolios across private market asset classes, ensuring performance aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Report portfolio performance and key insights to senior management.
  • Support the transaction lifecycle from origination to settlement, including structuring equity and debt instruments, including secured and unsecured.
  • Conduct due diligence and comprehensive risk assessments to support investment analysis and selection.

  • Contribute to the continued growth of Funds Under Management (FUM).

Your Qualifications

  • Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience (including relevant internships) in investment management, consulting, or related financial services roles – preferably in wealth management, private banking, or investment banking.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to create and interpret financial models.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of capital markets, alternative investments and asset classes such as real estate, corporate debt/equity, infrastructure and collectibles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable and skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Knowledge of blockchain and tokenization is a plus, but not required.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability and success in raising capital or brokering investments for clients.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Postgraduate degrees or certifications (CFA, CFP) advantageous but not mandatory.

In this role, your key responsibilities include
:

  • Management of the Investment Management Solutions- Alongside the CIO and direct reports, set the strategic direction of all aspects of ADCB Asset Management's investment management and private markets offering. Lead the teams in executing the strategic vision, helping resolve internal challenges with control functions and other stakeholders as and when they arise. In agreement with the CIO, the role has responsibility for setting and delivering the budget (revenue and AUM) for the product lines within Investment Management Solutions.
  • Client Engagement- Alongside relationship managers, product specialists and investment advisers, engage with key client relationships to win meaningful wallet share for Asset Management products and services
  • Product Strategy- Alongside ADCB segment coverage and Asset Management product and sales heads, identify strategic opportunities for product development and lead the teams through the design, execution and implementation of those initiatives
  • People Management- Manage self and team in line with ADCB's people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • Management of the Investment Management Solutions: Alongside the CIO and direct reports, set the strategic direction of all aspects of ADCB Asset Management's investment management and private markets offering. Lead the teams in executing the strategic vision, helping resolve internal challenges with control functions and other stakeholders as and when they arise. In agreement with the CIO, the role has responsibility for setting and delivering the budget (revenue and AUM) for the product lines within Investment Management Solutions.
  • Client Engagement: Alongside relationship managers, product specialists and investment advisers, engage with key client relationships to win meaningful wallet share for Asset Management products and services.
  • Product Strategy: Alongside ADCB segment coverage and Asset Management product and sales heads, identify strategic opportunities for product development and lead the teams through the design, execution and implementation of those initiatives.
  • People Management: Manage self and team in line with ADCB's people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contribution to business performance. Set individual objectives, manage performance, develop the team and provide feedback to maximize overall performance, engagement and motivation.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while ensuring ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programmes and projects, considering best practice and standards in the business environment.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank's required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 20 years of experience within a financial services firm with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a distribution, advisory or investment management leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent subject.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship building, negotiation skills and proven ability to influence others.
  • Significant experience in capital raising for private markets and / or traditional asset management products.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic preferred.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:
