Job DescriptionObjectives of the Job
Prepare programs and initiatives to attract investments in the social services and care sector, find alternative and financing solutions to support sustainable community development; provide support to the authority's departments with knowledge, work, and design marketing packages to enhance the community's role in supporting initiatives and social projects that serve the needs of the most vulnerable groups and beneficiaries of financial benefits.
Operational Duties and Responsibilities- Develop social service packages to present to companies and entities interested in investing in social services and care to provide alternative financing solutions.
- Identify available investment opportunities, study incoming investment projects from specialized departments, and propose suitable investment options to strategic partners, the private sector, the third sector, and others.
- Conduct studies to determine the feasibility of privatizing social services and authority activities according to approved systems, standards, regulations, and frameworks.
- Follow up on the implementation of multiple investment projects with partners, coordinating with concerned departments, to ensure compliance with agreement terms, and prepare periodic reports on progress rates.
- Conduct periodic evaluations of investment projects, identify challenges, and raise recommendations with solutions and developmental proposals to overcome obstacles and deliver services efficiently and effectively.
- Propose performance indicators to measure project results and outcomes, follow up on their approval, ensure implementation, and prepare periodic reports based on service quality, targeted results, achievements, and timelines, and raise recommendations.
- Measure the impact of social investment projects, prepare reports, and raise improvement recommendations, suggesting procedures for development to reach targeted results.
- Work on proposing investment projects for external entities, such as local and global companies and institutions, in the field of social sector development, and follow up on the implementation of approved projects and initiatives with the authority's departments.
- Follow up on partnerships with government entities and the private sector to develop social services in Dubai and deliver them according to standards.
- Monitor the inflow and disbursement of financial resources provided to the authority through contributions, grants, donations, Zakat, endowments, or other approved resources, and prepare related financial reports.
- Contribute to implementing communication and outreach plans and building relationships with stakeholders from the government, private, and third sectors.
- Adhere to the authority's information security policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality of information.
- Perform any other tasks and responsibilities within the scope of the job.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment projects.
