Job Overview
As Head of Investment Products, you will drive the investment product strategy for the Global Private Banking division. This includes overseeing product design, sourcing and governance across UCITS platforms, structured products, private placements, and discretionary investment offerings. You will lead regulatory engagement, ensure compliance with global standards, manage investment committees, and collaborate with global teams in Switzerland, Singapore, London, and Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end governance of investment products including sourcing, selection, design, and ongoing management
* Develop and execute the annual Investment Products Calendar in collaboration with distribution teams
* Oversee the launch of in-house funds, structured investment solutions, and capital market offerings
* Maintain and enhance FAB s UCITS and regional fund platforms, ensuring compliance with board and regulatory standards
* Spearhead the Focus List process, including product risk rating methodologies and governance frameworks
* Manage the Investment Committee (IC), Investment Products Steering Committee (IPSC), and Asset Allocation Committee
* Lead Wealth Solutions offerings, onboarding global service providers in trust, real estate, and estate planning
* Represent FAB at industry roundtables, forums, and conferences on product governance and cross-border investments
* Develop private client strategies across MENA, Asia, Europe, and Islamic investment jurisdictions
* Drive content development for FAB s investment offerings on digital platforms and websites
* Manage new issues and IPOs tailored to private banking clientele including LTV structures and subscription processes
* Lead special situations and client restructuring initiatives in collaboration with senior FAB leadership
* Establish and implement a Credit Advisory framework aligned with private banking needs
Job Requirements
* Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
* Minimum of 18 years of leadership experience in investment banking, fund management, or wealth advisory
* Proven experience in product development, fund structuring, UCITS governance, and private banking investments
* Deep understanding of structured products, LP-GP vehicles, and discretionary portfolio services
* Familiarity with global regulations (e.g., Swiss FINMA, Singapore MAS, UK FCA) for cross-border product compliance
* Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and stakeholder management experience across geographies
* Effective communicator with the ability to engage executive leadership, regulators, and external partners

About This Role
  • This is a varied role within our Dubai office, working as part of the EMEA Portfolio Finance team.
