**Planning Engineer (Infrastructures)**
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Planning Engineer (Infrastructures)** to join our team! In this role, you will be **responsible for performing planning/scheduling activities related to Infrastructure projects** **.**
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Review and convey the Engineer's consent to the Contractors' Baseline schedule of works in line with Contract conditions, and using Parsons Recommended Practices
+ Validation of compatibility of project resources for timely completion of the project.
+ Develop a Master Schedule integrating multiple packages considering their interdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of one schedule/project on others.
+ Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated / progress schedules. Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures / corrective actions.
+ Exercise "What if" analysis to assess the time impact of each change, variation, and potential event at an early stage and provide alternative courses of action & advice before issuing instructions to contractors.
+ Prepare regular progress reports / monthly reports with program analysis and recommendations, addressing program issues to ensure timely project completion, and preparing presentations regarding the work's progress concerning interim and major milestones.
+ Detailed assessment of the claims including Extension of Time, Disruption, etc. using leading delay analysis methodologies including time impact analysis & window analysis with the strong skill to demonstrate the contractor's concurrent delay.
+ Discuss, coordinate, and resolve the planning and scheduling problems with the contractor and the Employer.
+ Coordination with the Client to finalize the contractor's programs, reports, and claims.
+ Attending various meetings including kick-off, technical, service coordination, progress review, etc. providing valuable inputs, and preparing concise & precise minutes of meetings.
+ Preparation of Trackers / Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages of the Project.
+ Agree on the progress measurement system (PMS) and key indicators with the consultants/contractors during the project for monitoring purposes.
+ Ability to communicate clearly to conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals. Provide the reasoned & analytic response to the contractor notices and detailed particulars using programming data, sound construction practices, and contractual provisions.
+ Proper record keeping of project contemporary records.
+ Issue delay notices for the contractor's culpable delay and/or slow performance letters recording areas where the contractor's performance is behind the schedule.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized university/ institution.
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in planning and scheduling relevant Infrastructure projects related Parks, Roads, Storm water, sewerage networks etc.
+ Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
+ Good written and oral communication skills in English.
+ Registered as practicing engineer's in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or UAE Equivalency Certificate is preferred.

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs. You will work closely with the frontend developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs for web applications.

**Responsibilities**
Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer systems (to include operating systems, software and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations, maintains system integrity, and upgrades systems and/or servers as required. May create and document new methods supporting network/system operations and implement changes to procedures. Consults with support teams, help desks, customers and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinates and performs operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers, identifies recurring problems and recommends steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems. May plan for the transition of development and/or production environments to new technologies, utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files, manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies and/or study system requirements to determine proper server installation methods and procedures.
+ 6 years' experience in: design, maintenance, and operation of small to medium networks.
+ Administrating corporate or business' user accounts managing mail servers, printer servers, web servers, and/or firewalls.
+ Reviewing and recommending software applications as well as identifying hardware salient characteristics and any add on devices.
+ Systems management, monitoring and sustainment; hardware repair for servers, PCs, peripheral equipment.
+ Software installation, maintenance and sustainment.
+ Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting military networks, to include: Microsoft Enterprise Server 2008/2012 or later version; Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
+ Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 (or later version) and other mail applications (local and remote).
