The SOC Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the organization's cybersecurity posture is robust and resilient. The position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents, maintaining security tools and technologies, and supporting continuous improvements to SOC operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and operate most important security solutions designed to protect the company from cyber threats and attacks.
- Lead in deploying new solutions and technologies to improve the security posture of the company.
- Continuous fine-tuning of our security solutions to reduce the occurrence of false positive and false negative alerts.
- Act as L3 escalation point in analyzing and responding to security incidents from various security technologies and platforms.
- Perform platform health checks to ensure that our security solutions are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce threat dwell time in our environment through automation, process simplification, among others.
- Work closely with the Penetration Test Team, Cyber Hunt Team, Threat Intel, and other internal organizations to achieve the shared vision of improving the company’s cyber security posture.
- Use tools to respond to incidents, and actively improve the cyber security posture of the company.
- Develop the technical skills of the junior SOC analysts in the team to empower them to be more effective and efficient in their roles.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC are highly preferred.
4 years of experience in SOC operations, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security technologies.
- Proven track record in incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS,
- Full knowledge of the following tools:
- NAC Solutions.
- SIEM Solutions.
- EDR Solutions.
- NDR Solutions.
- IAM (Identity and Access Management).
- PAM (Privileged Access Management).
- Familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to learning and collaboration.
- Mean time to detect (MTTD) and respond (MTTR) to incidents.
- Uptime and performance of SOC tools and technologies.
- Accuracy and completeness of incident documentation.
- Contribution to process improvement and automation.
- On-call availability for critical incidents.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Engineer to protect our AI systems, data, and infrastructure against evolving security threats. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into every layer of our development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Design and Implementation :
- Design and implement security architectures for AI systems, cloud environments, and data pipelines.
- Integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure secure coding practices.
- Threat Detection and Response :
- Monitor and analyze security events to detect potential threats or breaches.
- Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Vulnerability Management :
- Perform regular security assessments, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with development teams to address vulnerabilities and enforce remediation timelines.
- Compliance and Governance :

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering, information security, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, cryptography, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS / IPS, vulnerability scanners).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security frameworks.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
Preferred Skills :
- Experience securing machine learning models, data pipelines, or AI platforms.
- Knowledge of adversarial machine learning and AI-specific attack vectors.

We are hiring Security Engineers for multiple leading companies. Positions are remote with global opportunities available. Roles include Junior Security Engineer, Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, and Security Engineer specializing in Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, and Application Security.
As a Security Engineer, your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing security measures to protect networks, systems, and data across various organizations. You’ll be expected to monitor and respond to security incidents, including identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and investigating threats. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain secure systems, infrastructures, and applications, and conduct security assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate weaknesses. Additionally, you will develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and GDPR. Performing penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security defenses and recommending improvements will also be a key part of the role. Finally, staying up-to-date on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to proactively defend against emerging risks will be a priority.
To qualify, you should have strong experience in network security, systems security, application security, or cloud security. You should be proficient with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPNs, SIEM, and endpoint protection. Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response is essential. Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. A solid understanding of security frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS will be beneficial. Additionally, experience with scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is desirable. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant credentials are also a plus. Above all, we’re looking for a passion for cybersecurity, continuous learning, and problem-solving.
