- Proficiency in data visualisation and analytics tools — such as Tableau Power BI or Python; familiarity with digital analytics platforms or marketing effectiveness frameworks is an advantage.
- Experienced in client engagement — with the ability to build rapport understand business challenges and deliver tailored insight-led solutions.
- Adept at leading presentations and proposal development — designing compelling slides facilitating workshops and responding effectively to client feedback.

The purpose of this role is to gather, maintain, and analyse data, coordinate reporting services, contribute to preparing studies to support the institution in the decision-making process, provide frequent reporting on university performance related matters, such as and not limited to enrolment, admission and graduation, validate and extract data in order to present it in any required format.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Administration
- Collects and validates data to build data warehouse on MS SQL server, MS Access.
- Updates and maintains data; troubleshoots SQL technical issues.
Surveys
- Liaises with Colleges to administer Student Evaluation of Teaching and other adhoc general surveys, prepares data files, validates faculty assignments, collects the data, analyses students' comments and communicates them to faculty members and deans.
- Receives responses from faculty members and deans on students' comments to ensure that students receive responses on their concerns.
Internal /External Audit
- Assists the Manager of Planning and Strategy with internal or external audit processes.
Balanced Scorecards
- Manages Balanced Scorecards, collects the balance score cards at the beginning of the year, gather information from surveys or units to update the scorecards and maintains records.
Business Intelligence Tools
- Administers and develops dashboards using Power BI and/or QlikSense Business Intelligence tools by liaising with business units, developing objects and validating results against the ERP system-Peoplesoft.
- Oversee updates to the Course Planning and Degree Audit applications.
- Oversees development of survey instruments in paper-based and online survey systems for institutional dissemination; analyses and prepares reports on results.
Data Reporting and Analysis
- Extracts and generates data from databases, analyses results by transforming raw data into information used as evidence for institutional decision making, and prepares reports for leadership, SLT and Board.
- Provides accurate reports on official institutional reports such as Annual Report, and Board presentations.
- Provides international accrediting with reports on student enrolment, admissions, registrations, class sizes, graduations, etc. for the purpose of accreditation and reaccreditation of university programs.
- Support the Senior BI and Applications Developer for global rankings submissions and reporting of results to senior leadership.
- Creates and updates the University Fact Book to be communicated to stakeholders
- Designs, extracts and confirms faculty workload reports for college reporting.
Administrative Support
- Provides general administrative support to the Department when needed.
- Coordinates training sessions, events, and workshops organized by the department.
SECTION III: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Minimum Educational Qualifications Required for the Role:
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, Management Information Systems and/or Data Science
- Preferred: Professional certification in Power BI or QlikSense is preferred
Minimum Years of Experience Required
- 3 years experience in an academic environment or higher education industry
Nature of Relevant Experience Required:
- Experience in academic environment preferred

Responsibilities
- Conduct daily and strategic fundamental and macroeconomic analysis of global financial markets, including FX, commodities, indices, and digital assets. As well produce advanced technical analysis.
- Deliver daily/weekly market reports, video briefings, and pre/post-event coverage of major economic releases, central bank decisions, and geopolitical events.
- Represent Equiti in TV interviews and financial media appearances, offering timely insights on breaking market news and economic developments.
- Monitor and interpret the global economic calendar, central bank policy, and key risk events to anticipate market movements and guide clients.
- Collaborate with the content and the social media team to produce educational materials, social media insights, explainer videos, and trading ideas.
- Serve as a featured speaker at workshops, seminars, webinars, and industry panels, delivering presentations on market strategy, trading education, and financial outlooks.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of both technical and fundamental analysis with a proven ability to generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience in media, webinars, or client presentations.
- Strong writing skills in English and Arabic, capable of producing market reports at a professional level.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or related field.
