**Job Description**
The Landscape Architect plays a key role in the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects, contributing to all stages from concept through to documentation. This role involves developing design solutions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and producing high-quality deliverables. The Landscape Architect also supports graduate professionals, contributes to research and innovation, and ensures alignment with project goals, standards, and client expectations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Drive market and desktop research objectives and topics according to project briefs and office thought leadership topics. Streamline relevant research information and outputs for senior staff review.
+ Able to steer online research promptly and more effectively.
+ Read, qualify, quantify, and graphically represent landscape architecture standards applicable to projects and apply the same to design tasks. Determine the correct source of planning and landscape architecture regulatory guidelines per region or authority and present key findings to senior landscape architects and peers.
+ Fully develops the design content by applying design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines.
+ Participates in the interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables and works on detailed or routine assignments involving calculations, sketching, diagrams, dataset development, drawing and reports. Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered.
+ Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Coordinates with other disciplines or business lines, as applicable, to ensure the continuity of the design process.
+ Understand the impact of integrating the work of other internal disciplines or external consultants/stakeholders in the design sequence and the output of the deliverables.
+ Adequately represent site reviews, opportunities, and constraints for project and client discussions. Question thoughts and validate design ideas after thoroughly reading the site's characteristics.
+ Present a good understanding of landscape architecture principles considering landscape scale and hierarchy.
+ Propose relevant and applicable landscape architecture typologies for further review and discussions with senior landscape architects.
+ Identify international and local benchmarks and precedents for further studies and steer the review effectively as per project requirements.
+ Requires the ability to structure landscape architecture deliverables and reports according to the scope of services and the applicable landscape architecture authorities' requirements.
+ Can demonstrate good descriptive writing of landscape architecture principles and landscape architecture guidelines.
+ Think in a 3-dimensional manner and be able to represent ideas verbally and graphically.

+ A bachelor's degree in landscape architecture is required for the role
+ A minimum of 3 years' experience is required for the role

On-Site Technical Leadership

Job Description
+ Prepares materials in support of general plans, master plans, specific plans, community plans, zoning updates, housing elements, grant applications, corridor plans, and other regulatory and policy planning projects
+ Oversees the development of high-quality, user-friendly documents, exhibit boards, and engagement materials
+ Performs demographic, economic, environmental, and other planning research, including spatial research using GIS, and coordinates interdisciplinary work that supports informed decision making
+ Works efficiently multiple projects at a time and prioritizes multiple tasks needed to meet deadlines
+ Provides support, as needed, to our broader planning, design, economics, and outreach team to ensure smooth execution of projects and continuity of excellent client relationships
+ Interprets and applies applicable government policies, codes, ordinances, and regulations
+ Writes and presents formal and technical reports, working papers, and correspondence.
+ Bachelor's degree in urban design/ civil engineering or related Degree program with experience in major infrastructure projects or programs
+ Postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields will be an added advantage
+ Professional registration with the appropriate institution preferred
+ Previous experience dealing with private/public sector clients and providing technical advisory on urban Design and infrastructure industry projects
+ Previous GCC experience, KSA experience preferred
+ Consultancy experience with practical knowledge and experience of current industry standards

As a Senior Consultant in Development Planning & Urban Design, you will play a key role in preparing and supporting a variety of planning projects, including general plans, master plans, specific plans, community plans, zoning updates, housing elements, grant applications, and corridor plans. You will oversee the development of high-quality documents, engagement materials, and exhibit boards, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet the needs of various stakeholders.
