Key Responsibilities
Driver and Route Management:
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timely deliveries
- Supervise and support a team of drivers across shifts (day and night)
- Act as a substitute driver when operationally required
- Conduct weekly briefings and/or debriefings with the driver team
- Monitor GPS tracking and route performance
- Ensure drivers follow traffic regulations, hygiene standards, and company protocols
- Track and analyze driver KPIs (on-time delivery, client feedback, route efficiency, etc.)
Fleet and Vehicle Management:
- Oversee daily vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and cleanliness
- Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local transport regulations
- Liaise with external rental car providers to manage leased vehicles and address service issues
- Coordinate repairs, renewals, and emergency vehicle support
Transportation Services Coordination:
- Manage transport contracts for staff shuttles and bus services
- Coordinate staff transfer schedules and ensure reliability and punctuality of services
- Serve as the key contact point for external transport service providers
Administration and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate driver logs, timesheets, route reports, and fuel usage
- Ensure proper documentation for all vehicle movements and maintenance
- Work closely with HR and Finance to support payroll (attendance, overtime, shifts)
- Maintain up-to-date insurance, registration, and licensing for all vehicles
- Ensure compliance with internal safety policies and external transport regulations
- Create instructions and manuals for daily routine
Team Leadership:
- Conduct regular team meetings, address performance issues, and provide guidance
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new drivers
- Provide feedback and coaching to improve team performance and safety awareness
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in fleet supervision, logistics coordination, or driver team management
- Valid driver's license (light vehicle mandatory, bus license is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of route planning and fleet maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets; experience with tracking systems is an advantage
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and solve operational problems on the go
- Good command of English; knowledge of other languages (e.g., Hindi, Arabic) is a plus
Working Conditions:
- Based in the office with occasional field driving duties
- Flexibility for early morning or late-night communication with night shift drivers

- Collaboration with the production and logistics departments for dispatch planning

Requirements
- 3–5 years' experience in logistics, delivery, or transport supervision (preferably food or FMCG)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of UAE roads and delivery regulations
- Familiarity with GPS systems, backend order management, and SLA monitoring
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, backend tools, GPS dashboards)
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage
