We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs in line with company and brand standards, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out minor periodic service maintenance as per MG Guidelines & IEM SOP .
- Repair or replace worn and faulty parts according to the job order.
- Perform Vehicle PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) to ensure proper quality checks.
- Use scanning tools (VDS) to read and erase faults accurately.
- Assist repair and diagnostic technicians when required.
- Continuously learn and update knowledge through technical training sessions to stay current with evolving automotive technologies.
- Maintain an inventory of standard technician tools and ensure proper usage.
- Provide clear documentation of tasks performed and highlight any safety-related findings to the superior.
- Follow the clock-in/clock-out process for assigned job orders as per company standards.
- Coordinate with the Workshop Controller and Parts Advisor for required parts and updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to company health and safety regulations and follow SOPs diligently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or workshop management.
Qualifications:
- Education: High Diploma in Mechanics
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar capacity
- Certification/Training:Brand Advanced Technician Qualification Certification is required
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy is required
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with telecommunication tools and basic computer systems is preferred

Overview
The Lead Electrical Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing all electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement activities across CAFU’s fuel delivery trucks and fuel terminal depots. This includes DC systems in vehicles, systems in depots, pump control systems, electrical panels, and related equipment. The position ensures electrical systems are safe, reliable, compliant with applicable standards, and optimized for continuous 24/7 operations.
Responsibilities- Truck Electrical Systems (DC Auto-Electrical Work)
- Lead troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of truck electrical and electronic systems, including batteries, alternators, starter motors, relays, and fuses.
- Handle DC wiring, sensors, actuators, solenoid valves, and signal lights.
- Maintain vehicle-mounted equipment such as fuel pumps, ADR lights, control switches, PIS, IoT devices, and safety interlocks.
- Depot Electrical & Control Systems
- Supervise and perform maintenance of depot electrical systems, including submersible turbine pumps (STPs), MOVs, control panels, lighting, and alarms.
- Maintain flow meters, level transmitters, sensors, and junction boxes.
- Perform safe isolation, lockout/tagout, and coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for troubleshooting.
- Electrical Power Distribution (Single & Three Phase)
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot DBs, MCBs, MCCBs, and contactors.
- Maintain cables, trays, glands, and power circuits in depot areas.
- Ensure compliance with UAE electrical safety codes and perform insulation resistance and continuity tests.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, alignment, and integration of STP/MBR systems on board ships or offshore platforms.
- Supervise or execute commissioning/Installation of vacuum toilets, collection tanks, transfer systems, MBR membranes (CIP cycles, replacement), Vacuum pumps, ejectors, valves, blowers, dosing systems, float switches and operate and manage ensuring leak-free and pressure stability.
- Perform routine testing of MBR permeate quality, membrane integrity, and vacuum pressure levels.
- Ensure systems comply with IMO (International Maritime Organization) and Marine standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, operational data sheets, compliance records and detailed service report

What we are looking for
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, and equipment manuals related to STP, MBR systems, and vacuum collection systems.
- Hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or technician roles, ideally within marine, offshore, or industrial wastewater treatment systems.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with ship crew, contractors, and technical teams, and to document service reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word (for report writing) and Excel (for data logging, performance tracking, and maintenance records).
- Physically fit and safety-conscious, capable of working in confined spaces, sewage treatment compartments, and at heights or via ladders, in line with marine HSE standards.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, often under pressure in time-critical service environments (e.g., port calls, dry docks, offshore platforms).
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UAE and internationally, including onboard vessels, offshore facilities, and client sites, sometimes at short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering/ 3-year diploma.
- 2+ years of hands-on field experience in installation or servicing technical systems.

+ Examines machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
+ Dismantles or partly dismantles machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools in scraping and fitting parts.
+ Replaces broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock; orders the production of a replacement part by a machine shop or sends the machine to a machine shop for major repairs; prepares written specifications for major repairs or for the production of parts ordered from machine shops.
+ Reassemble machines and make all necessary adjustments for operation.
+ Oversees and ensures all assigned and required tasks are performed during shift.
+ Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent training/experience and a valid driver's license.
+ A minimum of seven (7) years of full-time verifiable experience required.
+ Requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
+ Shall be qualified as Power Production journeyman or master technicians with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the maintenance and operation of commercial grade generators ranging in size from 5 to 2500 kilowatts is not required but strongly desired.
+ Excluded from this classification are workers whose primary duties involve setting up or adjusting machines.
+ Must have the ability to use hand and power tools and related types of equipment peculiar to the trade.
+ Must have the ability to read and follow schematics, blueprints and other specifications.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
