Are you looking for a challenging role that allows you to make a real impact? We are currently seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Assistant Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our guests and staff. This includes patrolling the premises, responding to emergencies, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential hazards.

As a Loss Prevention Assistant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for guests and employees in emergency situations. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents, completing reports, and maintaining confidentiality.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, the ability to read and verify information, and the physical stamina to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. You will also need to be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patroldaily to secure rooms and assist guests with room access.
  • Conduct emergency response drills, physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
  • Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas.
  • Assist guests/employees during emergencies and respond to accidents, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required.
  • Gather information and complete reports, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle interruptions, complaints, and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws.
  • Provide paperwork to employees, train, motivate, and coach them, serving as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of related work experience;
  • 1 year of supervisory experience;
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

You must possess strong communication skills, the ability to read and verify information, and the physical stamina to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. You will also need to be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.

  • Incident Monitoring & Reporting
    : Keep detailed logs, including visitor logs, vehicle logs, incident logs, key issue and return logs, and any other necessary documentation as per the site's requirements. Prepare and submit accurate reports for any incidents or security events, maintaining proper records for future reference and analysis.
  • Emergency Response
    : Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, including accidents, fire, theft, or medical incidents. Administer first aid where necessary, and promptly notify emergency services, civil defense, and the client. Assist in evacuations and ensure that emergency procedures are followed during crisis situations.
  • Fire Safety & Equipment Checks
    : Conduct regular checks to ensure that fire safety equipment, including fire panels and extinguishers, are in proper working condition. Report any malfunctions or issues with fire safety equipment to the relevant personnel for immediate rectification.

Educational Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in related field.
