ISS International S.p.A. is looking for Oil & Gas Mechanical Maintenance Technicians (Office/Field) to be involved in a Tags Registration Project regarding Oil & Gas plants in the UAE.
Main Responsibilities- Recognize installed equipment class to start its relevant data collection accordingly.
- Execute data collection and surveys independently without assistance.
- Collect required drawings and documents needed for assets registration.
- Extract tags from drawings such as P&IDs, SLDs, F&G Loops, etc., and organize them in Excel for individual packages.
- Gather essential information from Data Sheets and technical documents like VDBs, MRBs, etc., to obtain specifications and attributes.
- Conduct site surveys to verify physically all new equipment on-site against P&ID and coordinate with engineering for updates.
- Obtain manufacturer and model details from tag plates during site surveys.
- Identify deviations from drawings and documents observed during site surveys.
- At least a Technical High School Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Piping, etc.)
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance of Oil & Gas plants.

The activities are scheduled to start in July 2025, performed at our office in Abu Dhabi and at Oil & Gas plants in the UAE.
The resource will stay on-site for up to 90 consecutive days before returning to the Abu Dhabi office.
The contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension for another 12 months.
The rotation will be resident with one month of leave after one year in the UAE.

KeyAccountabilities- Conduct equipment troubleshooting, decide on the corrective action and ensures that the right maintenance is done on the equipment needing repairing.
- Supervision of installation, repairing and maintenance jobs on a wide variety of equipment and systems covering all plants on site.
- Monitor the work execution checking the quality and following up the work progress ensuring the completion on time.
- Monitor and inspect the work of maintenance contractors conducting works on the plant to ensure compliance with specified terms and parameters.
- Ensure that the quality procedures, vendor/ OEM instructions, HSE requirements, etc. are available & followed by the job execution group.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance work on equipment located in various assets, plants, or equipment.
The jobholder will ensure that the maintenance activity is performed safely, continuously, and reliably according to its intended purpose at a high quality level. They will also maintain personal tools and housekeeping at the mechanical workshop to serve its purpose according to defined KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assigned jobs as per risk assessment and comply with ADNOC HSE Procedures.
- Perform scheduled predicative preventative and proactive maintenance on plant equipment as per approved Procedures / Work Instructions to ensure proper operating conditions of Company's assets and adherence to international standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on all types of equipment independently with minimal supervision.
- Report through proper communication channels on assigned tasks.
- Perform time writing in SAP for all activities performed.
- Technical feedback in the SAP notification for the job performed.
- Observe status of equipment during routine inspections activities for abnormalities and report any defects to relevant Line.

- Troubleshoot, identify, and isolate faulty components, on Rotating, and Static equipment, using manufacturers' manuals, drawings, and diagrams.
- Perform troubleshooting and shutdown maintenance repair and overhaul on all rotating and static equipment.
- Operate and maintain the mechanical workshop by providing necessary lubrication of the equipment, checking gauges, maintaining equipment and tools in good conditions as per OEMs.
- Maintain necessary housekeeping in the Workplace.
- Comply with all HSE and fire-related rules and regulations and observe all requirements stringently.
- Discuss work assignment with Supervisor, examine faulty equipment to determine scope of work and obtain necessary tools and spare parts before starting the job.
- Identify spare parts required for maintenance work, from manufacturers' drawings and spare parts lists.
- Diploma in Mechanical, or any equivalent technical qualifications.
- Experience in various mechanical equipment and their maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with standard plant safety procedures and maintenance of quality procedures.
- Effective communication and technical report writing skills in English.
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of a wide range of equipment items of production facilities in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
- Thorough knowledge of HSE requirements for field maintenance jobs.
- Hands-on experience on basic office work related software; like MS Windows, MS Office or similar.
- Understands and uses the documentation and reporting procedures for abnormal conditions.
- Working knowledge on Operation & Maintenance manuals and engineering documents/drawings to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and to determine optimum equipment functioning.
