The Repair and Maintenance Technician (hydraulic) role undertakes hands-on tasks and utilizes Weatherford's facilities, equipment, machinery, and systems. More senior roles lead and oversee tasks carried out by other R&M employees.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and reports any issues promptly using the appropriate tools
- Maintains equipment, facilities, and work area in a presentable and safe working condition
- Repairs machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices
- Follows maintenance processes & procedures to undertake the following: unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools, completing all necessary documentation as required against their level of training & competence

As an AMO Technician -Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Performing maintenance and repairs of Pressure Pumping equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining refurbishing equipment routinely
- Conducting mechanical inspections.
- Using moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
- Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
- Configuring test stations and systems.
- Facilitating third-party repair of equipment when required.
- Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and trouble shoot equipment problems.
- Maintaining records. Scheduling maintenance of equipment Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
- Performing Inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE&Q policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Highschool Diploma, College Degree or Engineering Degree is an advantage.
- Have previous experience in mechanical workshop environment
- Have hydraulic, Engine and pump experience preferred.
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Have knowledge on hydraulic and electrical circuits and ability to troubleshoot faults.
- Have basic measurement instrument and hand tools knowledge
- Have advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.
- Have advanced computer skills.

We are looking for Maintenance Technician with experience in Industrial Facility Maintenance to work with Lucy Switchgear FZE, Jebel Ali, Dubai.
Job Purpose
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within a facility. This role involves conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and addressing urgent repair needs to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintenance Tasks: Perform maintenance of Fire protection, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
- Repairs: Carry out minor and major repairs on building structures and systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance programs to avoid breakdowns and failures.
- Equipment Setup: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Document all installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Building Maintenance - MEP – AC, Fire System, Gardening, Glass Cleaning, Plumbing, Doors and windows with Routine Maintenance as scheduled.
- All AMC coordination handled by Maintenance Dept.
- Maintenance activity job report generation and record maintaining.
- Team works in Cost control and improvement activity.
- H&S and Environmental related work implementation.
- Making Effective communication about plant related issues.
- Coordinating with all departments to carry out day to day shop floor activities.
- Meeting the departmental KPI’s.
- Compliance to Lucy QMS and EHS.
- Various Projects coordination and managing Contractors at site.
- JAFZA /Tracheas / DCD regulations compliance implementation.
- Safety coordination during various Facility modification, Expansion and major repairs.
- Utilities Maintenance – Electricity and Water supply, Electrical DB’s, Pumps etc.
- Execute PM schedules and Routine Maintenance schedules.
- Material Handling Equipment Maintenance and Service Management – Forklift & Battery-operated stackers.
- KPI’S and Environmental Objectives, Energy related activities.

All the above mentioned under key responsibilities and accountabilities. Should contribute to the growth of the company in totality and the role is based in Lucy Dubai. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required / instructed by line manager. Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Minimum Education: Diploma in Electrical
- 5-7 years' experience in maintenance department.
- Good exposure to industrial facility maintenance in Gulf region .
Good working knowledge in:
- MEP – Maintenance.
- AC Maintenance.
- Handling of external contractors.
- Forklifts and Battery Stackers Maintenance.
- Low Voltage Electrical Panels Maintenance (MDBi SMDB's).
- Experience in JAFZA freezone industrial Operations OFC.
- Trakhees regulations and guidelines.
Behavioural Competencies:
Teamwork and communication, Self-motivating, Proper coordination with the subordinates.
