Apt Resources is looking for a proactive Maintenance Team Leader specializing in HVAC and Kitchen Equipment to join a prestigious Boutique Resort in the Carribean. This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure optimal functioning of HVAC systems and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Team Leader will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Maintain and operate HVAC systems, chillers, freezers, and hot kitchen equipment, applying at least three years of experience and operational expertise, while ensuring proper upkeep of commercial laundry equipment.
• Design and execute preventive maintenance programs to enhance the lifespan and efficiency of equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and assessments of HVAC systems and kitchen appliances to determine maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose and address equipment failures, ensuring minimal operational interruptions.
• Keep precise documentation of maintenance actions, including repairs and parts replacements.
• Work collaboratively with management to organize maintenance schedules and oversee spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance tasks.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.

Coordinates maintenance and operations requirements to ensure optimum plant availability and to maximize plant operation efficiency, flexibility, reliability and safety.

• Reviews and advises on maintenance strategies.
• Determines and maintains resource requirements and ensures availability as required.
• Reviews the performance and maintenance costs of the works of the Operations Department plant. And ensures that technical assistance is provided for equipment problems when necessary.
• Identify the priorities for maintenance work and ensure that maintenance is completed before the deadline.
• Reviews reliability reports and coordinates requirements in liaison with Reliability Engineers.
• Screen and approve all work requests and ensure that they are clear and safe; preliminary investigations have been undertaken to justify the request.
• Confirm the priority of work requests and ensure equipment return dates are justified. Develop a rolling two-week plan and review and adjust it daily.

• Diploma in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
• At least 4 years experience in a major processing plant.
• Familiar with international and UAE refinery industry standards and protocols.
• Know about the Oil and Gas Industry
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships with staff and contractors with a focus on collaboration.
