The Machine Repair Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment. • Assist in performing routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on aviation life support equipment (ALSE) including Night Vision Goggles.
• Inspect, clean, store and maintain ALSE/NVG equipment according to established procedures.
• Perform scheduled periodic maintenance inspections on ALSE/NVG equipment including but not limited to Aviation helmets, oxygen mask equipment, survival vests, first aid kits, head sets, Life rafts, night vision devices, survival radios, survival packs and pyrotechnics.
