The primary responsibility of the Service Engineer role is to provide technical support and maintenance services for AFS equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning of all Dextra equipment in responsible countries.
- Performing full audits of equipment condition upon arrival at site, providing recommendations on location, positioning, and working racks.
- Installation & commissioning of equipment supplied from our workshops, providing operational training onsite and obtaining copies of signed documents.
- Providing a list of recommendations on PM, spare parts & consumables stocks to customers.
- Performing E-commissioning where consultants or customers already have the equipment.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues remotely and provide technical reports detailing problems, causes, repairs, and recommendations for elimination.
- Perform machine and operation audits, proposing service packages and ensuring that machines are maintained according to Dextra standards.
- Conduct servicing missions and customer audits, providing technical analysis and recommendations during necessary trips.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a customer service role is beneficial.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
