As a Senior Consultant, you'll be an accomplished and effective member of the Teneo Consulting team whose focus is on providing support to case Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors in the efficient delivery of cases, as well as managing smaller cases or discrete work streams within larger, more complex cases:
- Provide delivery support on discrete workstreams or manage smaller cases directly with Manager, Director, or Managing Director support
- Develop the answer from initial hypothesis through refinement and validation
- Manage the case or workstream team on a day-to-day basis, delegating and planning workload whilst also providing coaching support
- Work independently with minimal need for support
- Handle day-to-day liaison with junior and mid-level client counterparts
- Lead presentations confidently and engagingly when presenting output to the client
- Support with business development activities
- Build on client relationships and actively coach junior team members
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
- 3-5 years relevant work experience ideally within a Strategy or Management Consulting environment (other relevant fields may also be considered)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any degree discipline
- Excellent analytical skills and an entrepreneurial attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Highly logical and numerate
- Evidence of teamwork, leadership, and ambition alongside relevant work experience
- Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to influence and challenge when needed

Job Overview
Engagement Managers are expected to work with Alton's senior team members to help clients solve their most complex commercial, operational, and financial challenges. To do this, Engagement Managers lead teams of Associates and Senior Associates and take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of client engagements, encompassing analytical work, solution-crafting, and deliverable creation. Work Experience
Engagement managers should have at least 6-9 years of aviation/aerospace industry working experience and/or relevant consultancy work experience. Candidates will also be considered with a strong background from other industries/positions offering relevant transferable skills (e.g., investment banking, management consulting). Candidates must have experience managing analytical teams.
Travel
Domestic and overseas travel may be required 25-50% on average, or more during certain periods.

To do this, Engagement Managers lead teams of Associates and Senior Associates and take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of client engagements, encompassing analytical work, solution-crafting, and deliverable creation. Throughout your work with us, you will be working closely in tight-knit teams with Alton’s leaders to apply commercial expertise and rigorous analysis to solving real-world problems facing aviation industry players. You will take part in exciting projects and have a direct stake in helping Alton’s clients, while at the same time expand your own sector knowledge, consulting toolkit, management skills, and industry relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to conduct market research and perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Engage with clients to gather, analyze, and interpret data in support of assessments
- Develop analytical and financial models
- Become expert on aviation industry issues across the full value chain
- Present results of studies and analyses, and draft report deliverables
- Support the professional development of associates and senior associates, and provide training
- Support the development of company intellectual property
- Support targeted business development efforts with new and existing clients
- Identify new business opportunities and offerings for the firm
- Perform other logistical, administrative, or other tasks, as directed by company management
Qualities:
- Strong, demonstrable interest in, and passion for, the aviation industry
- Excellent interpersonal, team management, and teambuilding skills
- Comprehension of finance fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Superior organizational skills, flexibility managing multiple priorities, working to changing deadlines, and attention to detail
- Unyielding commitment to excellence, delivering the best possible outcomes for clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; strong foreign language capabilities are a positive
- Able to work precisely and productively under pressure and tight deadlines
For Engagement Managers a degree in a quantitative, problem solving, or critical reasoning discipline (e.g., business, finance, mathematics, engineering, statistics, etc.) from a top educational institution is preferred.
Work Experience
Engagement managers should have at least 6-9 years of aviation/aerospace industry working experience and/or relevant consultancy work experience. Candidates will also be considered with a strong background from other industries/positions offering relevant transferable skills (e.g., investment banking, management consulting). Candidates must have experience managing analytical teams.
Travel
Domestic and overseas travel may be required 25-50% on average, or more during certain periods.
