The BMS Specialist will report to the Facilities Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the building management system and all plant activities connected to the facility.
The successful candidate must ensure effective operation of the premise's Building Management System, providing expert knowledge, guidance, and support in its development to guarantee the safe and timely completion of planned and reactive maintenance of the Building Management System.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor the behavior of plants with respect to set points and configure control parameters.
- Perform daily audits of plant performance using the facilities built on the building management system (BMS), e.g., data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.
- Troubleshoot/analyze reasons for plant failures and provide specific diagnostics, problem analysis, and specify necessary remedial actions.
- Use historical logged data from various plants to review the system and propose improvements to enhance system efficiency and/or reduce operating costs as well as improve customer services.
- Program the BMS and PPM system and other plants (e.g., standby power generator, diesel-driven firefighting pump, fire alarm system, etc.) for automatic periodic testing.
- Stay up-to-date with technical developments, particularly associated with new technology in building engineering services and building management, and contribute to departmental engineering policies.
- Respond to and resolve work requests within specified timelines.
- Train team members and other trade staff in the operation and use of the BMS and metering systems.
- Elevate issues found during maintenance requiring capital investment, e.g., replacement items following repeat maintenance visits.

The Technician is a key role reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, Aftermarket Controls Segment, and will be based in Abu Dhabi. The Aftermarket Controls team carries out service, maintenance, and retrofit projects on Building Management Systems (BMS) used for comfort and energy efficiency across multiple industries including commercial, retail, and hospitality.
As a Technician, you will be responsible for onsite system verification, operation, planned preventive maintenance activities, testing, and commissioning of fit-out projects.
As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.
How you will do it
As a technician, you must have knowledge of the latest BMS products, HVAC control philosophy, instrumentation, and electronics, which you will use for BMS site implementation. You should have hands-on experience in programming controllers, installing & commissioning DDC controllers and field devices such as sensors, DPTs, valve actuators.
Knowledge of Johnson Controls software like Metasys, CCT, and Integration Protocol will be an added advantage.
You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers, while always maintaining a high standard of safety.

The role
The Lead Material Management Systems Administrator will act as focal point for the Materials Management System (MMS) in the region.
You will engage with stakeholders to ensure successful rollout of the materials lifecycle management system and associated processes, to ensure the MMS is setup in accordance with the Client's and Contract / Project's requirements, and to provide guidance on how the systems should be used in accordance with the requirements of the Business Unit.
You will support different functions (i.e. Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Construction) with the correct use of the MMS during the execution of projects.
You will be responsible for assessing upcoming MMS software versions and enhancements and liaise with software vendor to determine the necessary steps.
You will work with other members of the Information Management team with development activities including systems interfaces and reports.
