What you will need to do:
- Reports to the Project Manager and Division QC Manager while maintaining dedicated line of communication with the Quality Director on overall project quality related matters and the Corporate Material Manager if exists on all matters concerning civil works materials.
- Manages and coordinates all quality activities on site including assignment of quality personnel (QC Engineers QC Inspectors Document Controllers and 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company) to particular activities / work areas on site.
- Reviews and monitors the application of Company IMS Policies and Procedures applicable to the Quality Department at Project level.
- Reviews Contract requirements to determine whether Company IMS documents (plans procedures and the like) can be implemented as-is in their entirety or whether project specific versions are required and advises the Quality Director and Project Manager accordingly.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized/reputed University.
- Certified as Lead auditor ISO 9001:2015
- Having a total experience of min. 20 years with specific experience as a QA/QC Manager for min. 5 years in the Oil & Gas Projects (Managing QAQC function across Oil and Gas EPC projects with Pipeline Piping Process Equipment Structures Painting & Coating Insulation).
- Experience in managing large-scale capital projects by performing regular reviews and critical inspections as and when required.
- With ADNOC approval as Project Quality Manager

The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites. The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for all the Quality Control management functions related to the customer's aviation assets, assist the Program Manager/OPS Manager in all Quality Control management related activities to successfully support customer mission requirements. The QC Manager is the advisor for the Companies Aviation Maintenance Managers and Company's top management, promotes, develops, and oversees compliance of the company quality management system, effectively ensures complete and accurate compliance of all customer requirements by managing the quality policies, standards, procedures, programs and practices while driving and facilitating continuous improvement within the quality management system.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, direct, manage and evaluate personnel of the QC department to contribute to the objectives, vision and strategy of the organization to support operations and improvements by ensuring compliance with the customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.
- Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, clarify management objectives, plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
- Develop and implement new systems, best practices, demand planning, and other optimizations in order enhance continuous quality improvement.
- Understand customers' needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to quality activities.
- Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of Quality Control staff.
- Manage contractor and subcontractor activities, review proposals, develop performance specifications, and serving as a liaison with outside organizations.
- Direct, coordinate, assign, monitor and review the work of individuals engaged in Quality Control related duties.
- Establish quality procedures, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against key performer indicators.
- Ensure the executions of daily business are being complied with applicable references and standard operational procedures (SOP). Determine the need for perform all works and duties at high quality level including equipment, training, software, personnel, etc.
- The QC Manager will be responsible for all associated administrative responsibilities associated with this position and may have other duties as assigned.
- Implement and practice standards of service quality and operational programs to maintain maximum operational productivity and efficiency without lowering quality standards.
- Conduct root cause / corrective action investigations using appropriate procedures ensure safe, reliable, on-time; airworthy aircraft are available to support customer requirements.
- Advise and approve maintenance procedures, repair schemes, drawings, guidance and standard procedure issue by Support and Analysis Engineering Section, to ensure quality control objectives are defined and met.
- Monitor and oversee Technical Publications and workshops sections and ensures the completeness and accuracy of all processes are adhered to and provide necessary guidance when required. Act as first point of contact with customers, seeking to understand and enhance their experience and therefore their perception of the services provided.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls when conducting training.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of instructional and technical training design and delivery processes.

This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System (QMS) in line ISO standards, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of quality across the organization through continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibility:
- Formulate Quality Strategy and the processes of all the departments of the company.
- As a Management Representative, the position holder shall chair the quality management review meetings at regular intervals updating the Top Management on quality status, process non-compliances, risks, issues, customer feedback, giving updates on the QMS releases done, external audit feedback, etc.
- Plan, schedule and conduct process audits for the business and support functions (HR, Supply Chain, Brand Teams and Marketing, Accounts etc.) at timely intervals for all the office locations.
- Prepare and send audit reports for every audit conducted, regularly follow-up with staff on the non-compliances and assist them on the closure of the same.
- Assisting business and support functions in process documentation and review of the same as and when required.
- Responsible for making changes to the Quality Management Systems (QMS) through a formal QMS release process triggered by organizational changes, suggestions, feedback given by employees.
- Liaise with the external auditing body for coordinating, planning and scheduling the re-certification and surveillance audits conducted for the validation of the ISO certificate at defined time intervals.
- Follow up with business divisions for collecting the data on customer feedback, consolidate, analyze and give the analysis feedback to the Top Management in the quality management reviews.
- Experience in ISO auditing for both business and support functions in an organization.

Overview
Joby Aviation is seeking a passionate and experienced aviation professional to join our UAE team in launching Joby's first urban air mobility (UAM) air taxi service. This service, launched in cooperation with Dubai's Road and Transport Authority, will feature Joby's all electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL) and is expected to be among the first eVTOL UAM services in the world. You will report to Joby's UAE General Manager and will work closely alongside Joby's US-based Maintenance and Commercial Operations Leads.
As the Dubai-based Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager, you will drive the establishment of Joby's quality and compliance monitoring programs for all UAE-based operations (flight / ground, CAMO, maintenance, training, vertiports, third party service providers). You will serve a critical role in leading the development, planning, and execution of Joby's vision for UAM while focusing specifically on regulatory compliance.
You must be a creative and strategic thinker, and a driven individual who can represent Joby's vision while still being capable of driving tactical execution tasks on site, and with US-based counterparts.
This full time role is located in Dubai, UAE and remote work will not be permitted. Over 15% travel is expected to the United States, or other locations as requested.
Responsibilities
- Act as Joby's quality and compliance champion in UAE by serving as Joby's thought leader in quality and compliance best practices
- Assist in the drafting and review of manuals and procedures that support Joby's UAM operations, training, safety, CAMO, and maintenance
- Develop and implement compliance monitoring and quality assurance programs including internal audit programs as well as audit programs of third party service providers
- Serve as a primary focal point for coordination of all Joby pre-commercial activities with the GCAA and other applicable UAE aviation regulators
- Support the program management activities to drive Joby's commercialization of UAM in the UAE
- Ensure monitoring and remediation system is in place to maintain Operations Manuals (OM) in compliance with the relevant Civil Aviation Regulations
- Review and endorse all OMs prior submission to GCAA for approval
- Review and endorse all CAM and CAR M Subpart F required documentation including the SCMM, CAME, MOE prior to submission to GCAA for approval
- Ensure compliance with, and adequacy of, procedures required to ensure safe operational practises and airworthy aircraft
- Quality and compliance oversight Joby's contracted third party service providers

- 5+ years relevant aeronautical work experience of which at least 2 years must be related to quality and compliance
- Be able to demonstrate competence and experience to be the Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager as required by CAR Part ORO, CAR 145, and CAR M
- Shall be acceptable to the GCAA as the nominated person / post holder for Joby's quality and compliance management systems

In your first year, you will deliver a scalable AI-augmented QA strategy that enhances test coverage and accuracy while reducing testing cycle times. You will launch next-gen automation tools across key product teams and build the foundation for a predictive, self-healing quality ecosystem that continues to evolve with us.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and define the organization's AI-first Quality Engineering vision, integrating intelligent automation at every layer of the test lifecycle.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing, geographically distributed QE team across manual, automation, and AI-driven testing disciplines.
- Drive adoption of AI-augmented testing platforms like SOFI, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, or Diffblue to automate and optimize quality operations.
- Architect robust, scalable, cloud-native test automation frameworks for UI, API, functional, non-functional (performance/security), and regression testing with CI/CD integration.
- Design and implement strategies for AI-generated test cases, failure prediction, defect triaging, and smart prioritization using ML and LLMs like ChatGPT and Copilot.
- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and Engineering leads to align quality goals with delivery roadmaps.
- Establish best practices in quality metrics definition and reporting—test coverage, flakiness, defect leakage—delivered via intelligent dashboards and predictive analytics.
- Champion a culture of ownership, experimentation, and innovation within the QE function.
We're seeking someone who embodies the following:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10 years in software quality engineering or testing roles, with at least 3 years in leadership/management. Proven experience building enterprise-scale test frameworks and managing high-performing teams in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Technical Skills:
Must-haves:
- Hands-on experience with manual and exploratory testing techniques
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, REST Assured
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-prem deployments
- Proven ability to build, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered testing frameworks and strategies
- Experience with AI/ML applications in QA (e.g., AI test generation, anomaly detection, NLP-powered failure analysis)
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience building internal AI tooling or custom QA bots
- Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering for test scenario generation and bug documentation
- Knowledge of testing platforms like Katalon, AI TestSigma, AI or similar
