Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and Kaizen methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and PLM/PDM systems.
Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools (optional).

- Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products
- Create BOMs and routings for newly released Part Numbers and revise BOMs and routings when processes are updated and/or Lean Manufacturing efforts create increased efficiency of the manufacturing steps
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems at the plant level to improve process capability, quality and manufacturing readiness
- Design, develop, test, source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for new or improved manufacturing methods
- Identify and develop collaborative solutions for issues within the production workflow such as level loading, production bottlenecks, machine reliability, general production related work flow waste
- Make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape manufacturing success
- Prepare or direct the preparation of Model facility and/or equipment layout and detail drawings in CAD Engineering software
- Providing technical guidance for manufacturing activities
- Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls
- Support the Quoting process and Order Management process by supplying pertinent information as required
- Write procedures and reports
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to implement SPC
- PC skills including AutoCAD, (Mechanical Desktop a plus)
- MS Office suite software.
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of machine design, welding processes and CNC Machining knowledge
- Lean Manufacturing experience, or Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certification

- Develop PCB layouts optimized for automated manufacturing, supporting prototyping and high-volume production. Ensure compatibility with SMT, THT, and automated assembly lines.
- Engage in the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to manufacturing.
- Conduct FMEA for PCB designs to identify failure points, perform impedance and tolerance analyses to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
- Perform Signal and Power Integrity simulations using tools like HyperLynx, Altium Designer, or Cadence Sigrity.
- Analyze PCB designs for thermal and mechanical stresses using tools such as ANSYS or Mentor Graphics FloTHERM.
- Ensure PCBs are designed for efficient inspection and testing, developing test points and strategies.
- Ensure all PCB designs meet IPC Class 3 standards, EMI / EMC guidelines, and relevant standards like MIL-STD-461.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Analyze design and production data to ensure quality and identify improvements. Conduct root cause analysis for issues and provide solutions.
Main Requirements :
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Design for Manufacturing engineering in automotive, defense, or aerospace sectors.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical design engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
As an ideal candidate, you should have :
- Analytical thinking
- Understanding of SMT, THT, wave soldering, reflow processes
- Familiarity with PCB materials (FR4, polyimide, ceramic), surface finishes (ENIG, HASL, OSP), and conformal coating
- Deep knowledge of IPC Class 3 standards and related guidelines (e.g., IPC-6012, IPC-610)

In this role you will be the technical contact point between the engineering team and the operational team, the technical point contact between the bucket team and the customer, and will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve technical and quality issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Define investment and expense needs, driving from preparing for approvals to completion.
- Review and submit customer condition reports to clearly communicate condition of parts and recommended work scope and final report
- Participate in LEAN initiative and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
- Prepare standard plan and repair method for components. Translate the engineering repair requirements into operational processes and make sure those processes meet the CTQs as per the Repair Engineering Instructions (REI) as well as the components drawing.
- Support employee training on new methods and techniques that support company's global best practices.
- Prepare job cost estimate and job cost review to ensure meeting the targets. Set jobs repair cost and overview the cost of the progressing inspection / repair jobs.
- Prepare and update work instruction for product line.
- Provide technical support to the operation team and look into any non-conformance report and follow up with engineering on technical Non-Conformances Reports from inspectors to resolve issues.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles
- Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI’s and for process improvements
- Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.
- Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process
- Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
- Qualify newly introduced components collaborating with the engineering team, quality team and operation team to be repaired at the shop.
- Participate in RCA with the quality team and provide solutions if required.
- Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area
- With the Quality Team, drive the quality enhancements in the process, the lean line and the technical documents
- Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget
- Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
- Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements.
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Relevant years’ experience in technical or operational/production role.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
- Understanding gas turbine principles, and components.
