Head of Market Access & Pricing Middle East

Job Description
- Responsible for developing and executing access strategies engaging with national and regional payer authorities through local access agencies and ensuring the availability of our products to patients.
- Responsible for designing and executing a channel and distribution strategy that ensures pricing integrity and product availability aligned with commercial and patient access objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Local Access Strategy:
- In collaboration with local country access expert agencies and global market access team identify understand and capture local payer stakeholder needs and their implications for Galderma.
- Lead local adaptation of Global payer value proposition and Global Payer objection handler
- Ensure timely local P&R and HTA submissions and achieve optimal market access conditions
- Monitor the local P&R landscape identify P&R risks maintain knowledge and understanding of local access and funding pathways and keep the Global team informed regularly.
- Channel and Distribution Management
- Design and oversee the regional channel strategy including partnerships with local distributors wholesalers and logistics providers.
- Optimize distribution models to ensure timely compliant and cost-effective product availability across markets.
- Manage contractual agreements with third-party logistics and distribution partners ensuring service level compliance and alignment with pricing policies.
- Establish and maintain controls to prevent unauthorized price leakage.
- Pricing:
- Maintain up-to-date pricing information (i.e. price type price level reimbursement status) and communicate with the Global Pricing team.
- Report changes in pricing policies (i.e. new reference country basket new mandatory discount) proactively with Global Pricing.
- Submit price requests to Region/Global in sufficient time for evaluation.
- External Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with payers health authorities and procurement agencies in priority markets (e.g. KSA UAE Kuwait Qatar).
- Represent the company in pricing and reimbursement negotiations providing clear evidence-based value communication.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy Health Economics or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g. MSc MBA or PhD) is preferred.
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Over 5 years in market access; experience securing P&R for biologic or innovative medicines preferred
- Deep knowledge of Middle Eastern healthcare systems pricing regulations distribution landscapes and reimbursement pathways.
- Strong track record of developing pricing strategies and managing distributor networks.
- Experience with managed entry agreements tender processes and risk-sharing models is a plus.
- Strategic mindset with high attention to detail and strong operational execution.
