Work Management
The essential duties and responsibilities will include:-
- Lead and manage the technical Business Intelligence team for reporting deliverables to align with evolving business needs in the bank.
- To provide technical expertise in Datawarehouse development and optimization, hands-on ETL development.
- Manage implementation of all reporting projects from concept through completion
- Working directly with data, with proven ability to transform data into relevant and conclusive information required by key decision makers. Develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions;
- Supervises and directs the daily and overall activities of technical and other support staff within assigned areas of Business Intelligence to maximise output. Leads the hiring process, counselling of employees, defining expectations, monitoring productivity, performance evaluation and management.
- Coordinates the application of the various technical skills required to produce and develop business intelligence from ETL, data warehouse, data universe and dashboard, including information security and effective visual display.
- Synthesizes/Analyze information and creates reports that meet the needs of a variety of users.
- Customizes reports for different audiences to present data in a manner that is readily understood and in a format that minimizes rework. Provides clear guidance on how data was calculated and how to use reports. Accurately identifies data decisions that have strategic implications, presents options, guides decision-making and maintains consistency. Regularly solicits input and feedback from users and refines reports as necessary to address operational needs
- Coordinates with various technical teams within the bank to extend DW subject areas, as well as to share and disseminate data throughout the enterprise.
- Coordinates with business unit to understand business and reporting requirements to translate these needs into efficient data. Integration, extraction, and transformation processes between operational systems and the Data warehouse.
- Leading teams to deliver fast-moving projects through effective, timely and organized prioritization of tasks.
- Works under own initiative and under pressure, to deliver high quality products consistent to tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills.
·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Data Science, or Equivalent
·Broad and deep understanding of Business Intelligence
·Knowledge of Business Intelligence Data Modelling concepts such as Star Schemas, Dimensional Modelling, SQL, and Business Objects
·Significant experience in a relevant technical lead and management, development and support role.
·Extensive expertise and/or demonstrated experience with business intelligence Tools, ETL Tools, Decision Support Systems, OLAP Technology and Multi-dimensional Data: Experience with Business Objects would be highly regarded
·Solid understanding of SQL by writing complex SQL queries with exposure and experience of Sybase, MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Informix including T-SQL.
·Proven ability to analyse business problems and translate business needs into technical solutions
·The ability to communicate effectively with high level stakeholders both across technology and the business.

- 2+ years of Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Manage a team of BI professionals, including data analysts and data engineers, providing
guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage data mapping, data reconciliation and data conversion.
• Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of budgeted funds.
• Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and
software purchases, budget, and staffing.
• Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and
functional systems for the organization.
• Creates and maintains the network and databases for the company.
• Ensures stable operation of the network and databases by consistently scheduling and
implementing updates and functionality tests; identifies and resolves any issues that are
identified during the testing process.
• Schedules and produces periodic reports regarding MIS performance.
• Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and
maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.
• Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of a small staff of supervisory and
non-supervisory personnel. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company
policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree
preferred.
10-15 years’ experience in MIS with Data Leadership driving business value through data analytics in Fintech Industry.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Amazon Quicksight, Power BI, or similar platforms, with the
ability to design and implement complex data visualizations.
Strong data analysis skills, including data mining, SQL, and data modelling. Experience with ETL
(Extract, Transform, Load) processes is a plus.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
cross-functional teams, present findings to executives, and drive a data-driven culture within the
organization.
Knowledge of data governance best practices, data quality management, and compliance with data
privacy regulations.
Hands-on experience on Ms Applications – in particular Visual basic, Marco, Ms Advance Excel, Ms
Access and Ms PowerPoint, SQL, Business Intelligence toolsets.
