Overview:

Within the Strategy & Analytics team, Property Finder is looking for a strong Marketing Analytics Associate who will be primarily responsible for translating data into actionable insights, helping Marketing team of the company make informed decisions. You would work with an exceptional group of ex consultants from McKinsey, Bain, BCG and the Big 4.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the B2B Marketing team, Commercial team and Unpaid media team (Social, content & PR) to identify opportunities for marketing improvement and new promotional strategies.
  • Develop a multi-touch attribution model (e.g., first touch, last touch) for leads originating from multiple sources.
  • Develop compelling presentations for senior audiences, presenting data-driven insights with a clear storyline.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex analyses and marketing recommendations to varied audiences, including leadership.
  • Work on strategic initiatives to enhance Property Finder's marketing efforts and value proposition.
  • End-to-end ownership of workstreams to deliver data-driven business insights across marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Run complex and detailed analyses to identify areas of improvement in marketing efficiency and ROI.
  • Measure and track business/marketing metrics to assess the health and success of various campaigns and initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align strategies and goals.
  • Provide actionable insights on customer behavior and marketing campaign performance to drive informed decision-making

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in Business Analytics within a reputable tech company or top-tier management consulting firm
  • Exposure to Marketing, and Growth departments
  • Collaboration skills to work effectively with different functions and drive insights into actions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problem statements and derive actionable insights.
  • Clear, transparent, and fluent communication in English, with the ability to drive consensus and influence decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex and efficient queries independently.
  • Experience working with Tableau or similar data visualization tools (Tableau certification is a plus).
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, WebEngage) and familiarity with platforms like Salesforce and BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and creating predictive models for marketing optimization.
  • Experience in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), including building, analyzing, and interpreting MMM models, is highly preferred.

The Head of Analytics and Operations will lead the marketing department’s data analytics, marketing technology, and operational efficiency initiatives. This role is responsible for overseeing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, conducting market research, managing marketing processes, marketing operations, and most importantly, delivering actionable insights through comprehensive analytics (web, social, and campaign) to enhance decision-making, optimize performance, and measure marketing ROI in support of MBZUAI’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology (SFDC):

  • Oversee the implementation and daily operations of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and user adoption.
  • Develop automated marketing processes and drive marketing automation strategies, managing integrations with other platforms to streamline operations.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Lead the analytics function for web, social media, and campaigns.
  • Create and present regular dashboards and reports to leadership, providing insights into campaign performance, audience engagement, and market trends.
  • Define and enhance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of marketing initiatives.

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience insights.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to inform and shape marketing strategies based on research findings.

Marketing Operations:

  • Develop, implement, and refine marketing operations processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration across teams.
  • Oversee lead management processes and ensure the health of the marketing database.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with Web & Campaigns, Content Marketing, PR, and other internal teams to ensure that data and technology support marketing initiatives and conversion funnel opportunities.
  • Manage marketing budgets allocated to technology and analytics, ensuring efficient resource allocation and reporting.
  • Manage external vendors related to marketing technology, analytics platforms, and research services.
  • Ensure data compliance and adherence to best practices across all marketing technology platforms.
  • Foster a data-driven decision-making culture within the marketing team.

Academic Qualifications Preferred:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Film Production, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • A postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Professional Experience Required:

Essential

  • At least 10+ years of experience in marketing operations and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and operations is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), social media analytics, and campaign reporting.
  • Experience with market research methodologies.

The Analytics and Insights Manager (Marketing) will work with cross functional stakeholders across Loyalty, Marketing & Digital IT to provide deep data insights into the effectiveness of Marketing programs / campaigns. In addition, the role will also track / report performance across media channels and optimise the campaigns based on insights. The role will be essential in partnering with all the stakeholders to track effectiveness of Marketing programs and spends.

Key Responsibilities :

Analytics and Insights :

  • Responsible for providing data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and business growth by informing decision-making and optimize campaigns across all channels.
  • Analyze marketing performance data across channels (e.g., digital, social media, email, and offline campaigns).
  • Develop actionable insights to improve customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on campaign effectiveness & ROI
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks through deep-dive analyses.
  • Work with marketing teams to optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Leverage A / B testing, cohort analysis, and predictive modelling to enhance campaign outcomes.
  • Build and maintain marketing dashboards for real-time tracking of performance metrics
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Google Analytics, BI.
  • Involved in ML models operationalization and business value realization.
  • Support the development and adoption of predictive analytics, AI / ML models for mass marketing to : optimize test learn across initiatives, forecast customer behaviour, acquisition / conversion models to NFR, look alike models, MMM model etc.
  • Communicate and present complex data and insights in a clear and compelling way to stakeholders, using data storytelling and visualization tools

Process and Policy Development :

  • Support the development of RACI models to clearly define roles and responsibilities with Loyalty, Marketing, Retail, Digital (IT) and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure integration of data analytics functions with overall business objectives.

Stakeholder Management :

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including retail business leads, IT, finance, and operations & external stakeholders such as advertising agencies, media agency, marketing analytics agency, consumer research etc
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders for C Store business analytics

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience on data and analytics functions preferably in large B2C Marketing organisations or Advertising / Media Agencies
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Dataiku Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with data infrastructure and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience in ML models operationalisation and business value realisation
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices.

Professional Skills :

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in data analysis, and business intelligence.
  • Ability to develop and implement data strategies and roadmaps.
