Job Purpose: Senior Marketing Managers independently establish, maintain, and evaluate marketing plans in line with Event Strategies with final sign-off from the Portfolio Marketing Lead.
Direct Reports: The Senior Marketing Manager is most likely to have direct reports including a Marketing Manager (where applicable), Marketing Executive, and/or Marketing Coordinators, and can manage, nurture, and empower both direct and indirect reports.
Key Accountabilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Manage a team of marketers working across a range of eventswithin the portfolio.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to direct line reports.
- Contribute to a culture of positivity, high performance and a growth mindset.
- Where applicable develop clear development roadmaps for high potentials.
- Ensure direct line reports are competent people managers and have the skills and training required to manage junior team members or specialists.
- Identify training needs and ensure line reports are technically proficient.
- Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technology solutions.
- Ability to persuade and influence senior members of the team with fact-based insight and feedback.
Planning, Campaign Management & Execution, Analysis & Insights:
- Lead on the strategic thinking, planning, and execution of an integrated multi-channel marketing plan and budget that aligns with the overall Event Strategy.
- Gain a deep understanding of the industry and supply chain the event serves, including its key stakeholders for data segmentation and messaging purposes.
- Develop personas, value propositions, and messaging for each of the key stakeholder profiles.
- Work closely with direct line reports to ensure successful delivery of marketing campaigns in line with agreed KPI’s.
- Create and deliver a Content Marketing plan that resonates with your audience and supports event goals.
- Create a website strategy that attracts and converts visitors, using Google Analytics to effectiveness.
- Ensure show websites are fully up to date with the latest information in accordance with the campaign cycle.
- Ensure all social media channels are setup accordingly with business guidelines, frequently maintained and monitored to attract, engage, and convert followers.
- Create a well-thought-through data build and verification strategy aligned with your event goals and KPIs.
- Work with internal compliance team to ensure all activities meet expectations.
- Work with shared services teams (data, digital etc.) ensuring requirements are submitted in advance of the deadline date and that the brief is clear and specific.
- Effectively manage third-party suppliers and partners with clear, documented service level agreements to ensure deliverables are of the highest standard. This includes but is not limited to PR, digital, social media, and registration agencies.
- Build and manage relationships with key media partners and associations to support efforts in creating awareness and driving participation.
- Coordinate the design and production of all marketing collateral e.g. sales brochures, post-show reports, print ads, web banners, email templates etc., in a format that delights, engages, and drive conversions.
- Write creative, persuasive copy for a wide range of media, ensuring it has gone through the necessary approvals and is error-free.
- Have a keen interest in and ability to analyze and report on response rates and trends from activities and campaigns to ensure we’re on track to meet KPIs, improve campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and pre-empt risk.
- Share relevant insights and recommendations with sales, event teams, and senior management, using available analytical and visualization tools.
- Stay closely connected to the core customer profiles, collecting feedback to ensure the event is meeting their expectations and that you’re aware of industry changes and nuances.
- Keep abreast of and explore new marketing channels, tactics, and methodologies to enhance marketing performance.
- Continuously seek and test innovative and creative communication techniques and formats that delight and excite our audiences.
- Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute.
Qualifications and experience:
- At least 4-5 years year's demonstrable experience in events and / or B2B media.
- Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
- Detailed knowledge of marketing best practices with a strong knowledge and understanding of social media marketing.
- Experience in the Middle East market is a plus.
- Arabic written and spoken is a strong asset.
- Ability and willingness to travel for business and events.
- Experience in dealing with and managing key stakeholder relations.
- Ability to network and liaise with senior people/trade bodies and associations
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in 360 marketing and measurement.

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic marketing professional with a strong background in colour and décor, consumer insight, and event activation, specifically tailored to the preferences and needs of Arab consumers in the GCC. This role entails end-to-end ownership of marketing initiatives involving colour consultation, décor tools, and brand engagement across digital and physical touchpoints.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Marketing & Consumer Insight
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research to gain deep insights into colour, design, and décor preferences of Arab consumers across the GCC.
- Develop culturally relevant and aesthetically appealing colour tools, décor guides, and visual collaterals for retail and consultation environments.
- Own and manage the content strategy and quality standards for all colour and décor-related social media assets, ensuring visual storytelling aligns with brand identity.
- Collaborate with Digital, Sales, and CX teams to design and deliver seamless, personalized colour journey experiences for consumers—from online discovery to offline consultation and post-purchase engagement.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of colour tools and consultation processes using key metrics such as engagement scores, tool usage rates, and conversion performance.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with influencers, interior designers, and décor studios to enhance brand credibility and reach.
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on colour and décor, advising cross-functional teams on trends, consumer preferences, and design innovations.
- Support product launches and re-launches through detailed go-to-market strategies based on product USPs and regional consumer preferences.
- Implement robust NPD processes and documentation in coordination with Central and Unit Marketing, Technology, and other stakeholders.
2. Colour Consultation
- Manage the end-to-end colour consultation service across the GCC, ensuring service quality, adherence to SLAs, and improved consumer conversion rates.
- Design and develop tools, training modules, and collaterals to empower Colour Consultants in delivering a superior consultation experience.
- Personally handle consultations for large-scale or high-value projects, offering expert recommendations on colour selection based on interior elements such as flooring, lighting, and furnishings.
- Liaise with third-party contractors and painters to ensure seamless project execution aligned with customer vision and brand standards.
- Promote branded painting services by highlighting key service advantages such as convenience, professional execution, and aesthetic quality.
- Collaborate with clients to gather briefs, understand expectations, and deliver projects within strict timelines and budget parameters.
- Create 3D renderings, drawings, mood boards, and material boards for premium clients and design studios.
3. Activation & Events
- Plan and manage brand activations, exhibitions, and event setups across the GCC to strengthen consumer engagement and visibility.
- Play an active role in planning and executing internal and external meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, or product activation—preferably within the paints, coatings, or building materials industry.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Proven experience in marketing roles related to décor, interior design, or colour consultation, preferably within the GCC.

Overview of the Role:
The Marketing Executive (Multimedia Specialist) , is responsible for supporting with the development of all visual content creation for all ‘Imagine ‘branded show offerings and projections which include but are not limited to special events, seasonal events, sponsorship activities, advertising and permanent shows along with any other graphic design work requested by the marketing team which includes but not limited to, new creatives, presentations, adaptations, creating animations.
This role requires someone with good photography skills to assist and document all events in an aesthetically captured way. This person works in partnership with the creative, production and marketing team.
The role will assist in creating and executing new and innovative content and shows to produce award-winning spectaculars. This will include Artwork, graphics, animation and live video production.
The role will be within the Marketing team at DFCM and Festival Plaza. Support will also be given to other departments within Dubai Festival City Mall and Regional marketing departments as directed.
The post holder as part of the team will always be looking towards “what’s next” by challenging existing thinking, implementing strategies to maximize the potential of entertainment whilst adhering to and respecting the ‘Imagine’ brand to facilitate year-on-year engagement. The role-holder will assist in delivering excellent customer experiences, and in positioning Al-Futtaim as one of the market leaders in mall entertainment.
NOTE: The role will be responsible for the full delivery of visual media and artwork for the provision of quality entertainment experience. The post holder is a key member of the Marketing team and by extension the IMAGINE team. Overview of the Role:
The Marketing Executive (Multimedia Specialist) , is responsible for supporting with the development of all visual content creation for all ‘Imagine ‘branded show offerings and projections which include but are not limited to special events, seasonal events, sponsorship activities, advertising and permanent shows along with any other graphic design work requested by the marketing team which includes but not limited to, new creatives, presentations, adaptations, creating animations.
This role requires someone with good photography skills to assist and document all events in an aesthetically captured way. This person works in partnership with the creative, production and marketing team.
The role will assist in creating and executing new and innovative content and shows to produce award-winning spectaculars. This will include Artwork, graphics, animation and live video production.
The role will be within the Marketing team at DFCM and Festival Plaza. Support will also be given to other departments within Dubai Festival City Mall and Regional marketing departments as directed.
The post holder as part of the team will always be looking towards “what’s next” by challenging existing thinking, implementing strategies to maximize the potential of entertainment whilst adhering to and respecting the ‘Imagine’ brand to facilitate year-on-year engagement. The role-holder will assist in delivering excellent customer experiences, and in positioning Al-Futtaim as one of the market leaders in mall entertainment.
NOTE: The role will be responsible for the full delivery of visual media and artwork for the provision of quality entertainment experience. The post holder is a key member of the Marketing team and by extension the IMAGINE team. They will collaborate with external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner, reflecting the company’s reputation in the shopping center industry. A key member of the Entertainment Management team whilst driving and delivering new concepts and shows to ensure continued success of the “Imagine “show.

- Proven ability to translate creative brief into effective visual execution
- Knowledge of aligning visual animation with music

- Creative thinker Clear and concise both verbally and written
What Equips you for the role:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- University Graduate or Trade-school Diploma
- Animation and cartoon production skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- 3 years Art, animation and Video experience
- Certification in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro or similar
- Solid experience with digital technology - After effect, Lightworks, Dimension
- Solid Experience with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Solid Experience with drawing software- such as CAD, Adobe Indesign and Adobe illustrator.
