As a Manufacturing Materials Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business.
As a Lead Manufacturing Materials Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Working with the region sales and operations to create the regional and global forecasts, and convert the demand plans into physical orders.
- Analyzing incoming demand, and identifying order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
- Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
- Working with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed
- Performing various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged PO, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
- Implementing inventory stocking strategies, and monitoring levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory
- Assisting with product life cycle management for new and obsolete products to ensure they are incorporated into the S&OP process

- Have at least 5 years of experience in Material Planning
- Have strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Have experience in order management, inventory optimization and management, asset utilization and management
- Have experience in SAP and MRP functionality
- Certified in CPIM
- Show good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements

Quality
- Apply procedures which are described in Quality Assurance Manual.

Planning
- Provides LT quotations upon Sales request
- Validate the customer request dates feasibility
- Perform the scheduling activity in line with Delivery Prospectus Lead Time or provided quotations
- Releases according to production Work in process and capacity in connection with assembly supervisor
- Launch assembly work orders proposed by the Enterprise Resource Planning (Oracle system) from overdue customer request date to newest
