What are my responsibilities?
  • Develop code to normalize data from various sources for ingestion and processing in Vanderlande Logistics’ flagship SaaS application.
  • Ensure quality assurance for SaaS applications.
  • Design and enhance technical solutions for both new and existing customers.
  • Document proposed and implemented solutions, ensuring sound design and architecture.
  • Provide regular status updates to requestors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical project documentation is thorough and up to date.
  • Manage the handover process for the Service and Customer Success teams.
  • Actively contributes to a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and set clear expectations.
  • Collaborate with a geographically dispersed, diverse team to exceed goals and align with strategic objectives.
  • Manage a dynamic workload, adjusting priorities and actions in response to evolving business needs and new information.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Educational background in software development, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  2. Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models in alignment with Oracle Database standards.
  3. Exhibit proficiency in translating business requirements into precise data models.
  4. Work closely with Oracle Database administrators and SAP specialists to ensure seamless alignment of data models with integration needs.
  5. Collaborate with ETL developers and data engineers to ensure smooth data integration across various databases, SAP, and other relevant systems.
  6. Utilize programming languages such as .NET, Node.js, Python, etc., for REST-based service implementation (desirable).
  7. Preference for experience with middleware technologies such as SoapUI, Postman, and other middleware.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  9. 3-5 years of experience as a data modeler and integration expert, including expertise with REST/SOAP-based services.
  10. Proficient knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, data structures, SQL, and hands-on experience with SAP data environments is preferred.
  11. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into effective data models within Oracle Database and SAP landscapes.
