A leading Diesel Trading company is seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic specialized in prime movers (Scania, Volvo, MAN) to maintain, repair, and overhaul our fleet of heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work independently to ensure maximum vehicle uptime and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues in heavy prime movers.
- Perform scheduled maintenance: oil changes, brake inspections, and tires.
- Inspect and repair engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, steering, and brakes.
- Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools (Jaltest).
- Repair faulty parts such as fuel pumps, injectors, alternators, and gearboxes.
- Maintain accurate service records and report all completed work.
- Experience in Scully system repair, calibration, and troubleshooting for diesel tankers
- Valves maintenance and repair (loading/unloading valves)
- Robin PTO pump installation, servicing, and troubleshooting
- Battery control system testing, maintenance, and reporting
- GPS device installation, repair, and maintenance for fleet vehicles
- Camera surveillance systems installation, repair, and monitoring control setup
- Strong electrical and mechanical skills for heavy vehicles

- Inspect various parts of trucks, including brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanisms to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively
