Responsibilities- Assist with removal and installation of undercarriage parts: suspension arms, shock absorbers, axles, bushings, ball joints, stabilizers, etc.
- Help with brake system service: pads, discs, calipers, drums, and brake fluid bleeding.
- Support steering system tasks: tie rods, rack and pinion units, power steering components.
- Assist in wheel alignment preparation and adjustments.
- Help with engine oil changes, filter replacements, battery replacement, and basic car servicing.

Job SummaryThe Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. The Mechanic ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of vehicles serviced within the workshop.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES Vehicle Maintenance & Repair- Perform mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and brake systems.
- Carry out routine services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mechanical faults.
- Accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend solutions or part replacements.
- Follow job card instructions and complete work within designated time frames.
- Conduct test drives and final checks to ensure issues are resolved before handover.
- Use workshop tools, diagnostic scanners, and lifting equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintain and store tools in good condition.
- Adhere to company quality control standards and vehicle manufacturer guidelines.
- Observe all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Record repairs, parts used, and services completed on job cards or workshop systems.
- Report any additional work or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel for smooth workflow.
- Provide technical feedback when needed.
To be a successful Auto Mechanic , you should have in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality repairs. A proactive attitude, technical precision, and adherence to safety standards are essential to excel in this role.
Qualifications and SkillsTo succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 4–6 years of experience as an automotive mechanic (dealership experience preferred)
- Manufacturer training or certification in automotive repair
- Solid understanding of vehicle mechanical systems and repair procedures
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and interpreting repair software
- Proficient in both manual and automatic transmission systems
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair guides
- Valid UAE driving license
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet repair standards
- Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with organizational procedures
- Good teamwork, adaptability, and initiative to solve problems independently
