The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree (M.Sc) in Microbiology or an equivalent qualification and possess a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in a CAP-accredited environment. This role involves comprehensive responsibilities in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in audits and proficiency testing (PT) cycles, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing in compliance with CAP, CLIA, and internal SOPs.
• Review and monitor QA/QC documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with CAP standards.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and investigation of quality incidents and non-conformities.
• Actively participate in internal and external audits including CAP inspections.
• Oversee and participate in Proficiency Testing (PT) cycles, including documentation and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior laboratory staff and new hires.
