The successful candidate will play a key role in the transportation and delivery of medical equipment, ensuring timely receipt, storage, loading and unloading, and safe delivery to various customers around the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and participate in the receipt, storage, loading and unloading, and delivery of medical equipment by cross-checking specifications and quantity of orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as applicable.
- Assist drivers throughout deliveries by navigating routes, loading and unloading equipment, driving, etc.
- Receive products from ports and deliver them to the warehouse.
- Collect documents and products from the warehouse.
- Deliver products to various customers around the UAE as per Sr. Driver & Fleet Coordinator's instructions.
- Collect any faulty products from customers and deliver them back to Warehouse for servicing.
- Load medical equipment into vehicles in a proper manner.
- Submit daily work reports to Warehouse Operations, RA & QA Manager.
- Attend to urgent calls from Warehouse and divert deliveries accordingly.
- Comply with all Warehouse instructions, rules, and regulations.
- Properly check and inspect items' quality and quantity against invoice and delivery note to ensure accuracy.
- Inform Sr. Driver & Fleet Coordinator of any discrepancies.
- Collect and return all documents with customer's signature and company stamp to Warehouse.
- Drive safely and obey UAE Traffic rules and regulations.
- Utilize online maps to identify fastest routes.
- Maintain organized travel schedule and ensure there is ample time to reach destination.
- Check and maintain vehicle petrol on a regular basis.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, coolant, engine oil, etc., and repair when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle as per Company Vehicle Policy.
- Maintain vehicles logbook on a daily basis and cross-check it with GPS driver log.
- Ensure timely renewal of company vehicle and personal driving license.
- Valid UAE Manual Driving License required.
- High School Degree minimum qualification.
- 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- Time Management skills.
- Organization skills.
- Thoroughness of routes.
- Physical ability to lift items (loading & unloading).
- Familiarity with GPS devices.
- Knowledge of local driving and traffic laws.
Candidates should be based in the UAE and willing to move to company visa.
