Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or academic challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, school leadership, and parents to support students’ social and emotional development.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans.

- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate case records.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
- Holding a UAE Social Worker license or eligibility for licensing.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 or C1 level.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the UAE educational sector.
- Familiarity with local cultural sensitivities and legal frameworks related to student welfare.
- Fluency in Spanish.

• Assists the counsellors in providing students with information for career exploration and selection to assist them in making appropriate academic course selections relating to their interests.
• Maintains an appropriate library/database relating to various careers for students to utilize in their career explorations.
PERSONAL COUNSELLING:
• Works with individual students and groups of students in regards to appropriate social development issues.
• Maintains an awareness of cultural influences regarding social development of adolescents.
• Monitors students who may be at risk in regards to social issues and makes appropriate referrals for interventions outside of school in consultation with parents
