We are seeking a skilled Murex Datamart Developer to join our team. The role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring Datamart objects, and developing reports to provide critical financial data for reporting, analysis, and regulatory needs.
Responsibilities- Datamart Development: Design, build, and test Datamart reports and extractions from end-to-end, including complex objects and business logic. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between Murex modules and external systems.
- Configuration: Configure Datamart objects such as dynamic tables, feeders, batches, and extractions to support business and regulatory reporting needs.
- Data Management: Extract and transform data from Murex into reporting data warehouses and ensure data accuracy and consistency through validation and reconciliation.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and tune Datamart configurations and batches to ensure reports are generated efficiently and within specified service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Automation and Scheduling: Automate Datamart processing and report generation using scripting (like Unix shell) and scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and manage expectations.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot Datamart batch failures, and resolve any data-related issues.
- BAU Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Murex Datamart issues in a production environment.
- EOD Support: Responsible to handle the EOD issues and Support batch processes (EOD/Intraday/ night), reporting issues, and interfaces between Murex and other upstream/downstream systems (Swift, accounting systems). Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Datamart workflows, reporting, and data extraction processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications for reporting logic and configurations.
- Project Lifecycle Participation: Contribute to Murex implementation, upgrade, and maintenance projects from initial development through post-go-live support.
- Minimum working experience of 10-12 years of experience.Murex mxml exp between 7-12 years and murex production experience is a must.
- Murex Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Murex platform, particularly the Datamart module, Market Data, MLC, MRB and static data modules
- SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL for building queries, stored procedures, and performing database design and optimization.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages like Unix shell or Python to automate tasks and workflows.
- Data Concepts: Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling techniques and API's.
- Financial Products: A strong understanding of financial instruments, especially derivatives (like swaps, futures, and options), and other capital market products.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with both Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
- DevOps: Some roles may require experience with DevOps practices and tools like Jira and Confluence

We are seeking a skilled MxML Integration Developer and Production Support resource to join our Treasury IT team. The role involves developing and enhancing Murex interfaces to import trades from various upstream systems, collaborating with Back‑Office and Interface teams, and supporting the production environment.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of interfaces including requirement gathering, design, build, test, deployment, and support.
- Build new upstream/downstream integrations and convert existing integration points.
- Develop and enhance Murex interfaces to import trades from upstream systems.
- Implement mapping, validations, and transform messages into MxML format for import into Murex.
- Configuration and support for SWIFT / MX messages template for trades and payments as part of back‑office requirements.
- BAU Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Murex Interfaces issues in a production environment.
- EOD Support: Responsible to handle the EOD issues and Support batch processes (EOD/Intraday/night), reporting issues, and interfaces between Murex and other upstream/downstream systems (Swift, accounting systems). Monitor and resolve incidents.
- Support integration‑related requests and collaborate with technical teams.
- Drive development and housekeeping of Datamarts, extractions, and associated scripts.
- Minimum working experience of 10-12 years. Murex MXML experience between 7‑12 years and Murex production experience is a must.
- Proficiency in MxML 3.1, XML/XST languages, Data Dictionaries, and Templates.
- Experience with MxML Exchange for import/export workflows.
- Knowledge of SWIFT and MX confirmation formats.
- Familiarity with trade interfaces like MarkitWire, Integral, TOF, RTNS, TOMS, etc.
- Understanding of Market Data upload (RTBS, MDIT).
- Experience with Messaging Queues (MQ).
- Workflow expertise: Contract, Deliverable, Event, Exchange, Collateral.
- Scripting: UNIX Shell, Java, Perl.
- Knowledge of FX, IR, FI, Equity products and trade lifecycle.
