Hercules Depot is one of the leading building material distributors in the UAE, representing major brands such as RAK Ceramics, MAPEI, SIKA, Makita, etc. We are looking to onboard a procurement officer/buyer whose primary responsibility is to assist the General Manager in procurement in the periodic purchase of products/brands in sanitary ware, power tools, safety hardware, electrical items, etc.
This includes the following:
- Create RFQs sent by the digital marketing department and e-commerce department for the promotion of the company brands.
- Evaluate bids from vendors based on criteria such as price, quality, and service level agreement commitments.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and initial outreach to become partners with Hercules Depot.
- Generate reports summarizing purchase activities such as spend analysis data or supplier performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure the accurate and timely payment of invoices.
- Maintain dialogue and visibility to vendors to improve service and performance.
Having prior experience in dealing with RFQs from corporate major clients is a major plus.
