We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our ideal-design-display-materials team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough research on potential products, vendors, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Research and Analysis : Conduct comprehensive research on potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality to secure the best deals.
- Negotiation Expertise : Negotiate contracts with vendors and clients to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
- Supply Chain Management : Collaborate with delivery and store teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and accurate inventory management.
- Procurement Planning : Collect material requests from various departments and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Quality Control : Inspect purchased products upon delivery, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies.
- Supplier Evaluation : Evaluate and grade suppliers based on quality, reliability, and service performance.
- Approved Supplier List : Maintain and regularly update an approved supplier list.
- Transaction Records : Keep detailed records of all purchased products and transactions.
- Purchase Order Management : Generate purchase orders efficiently using ERP systems.
- Cost Analysis and Reporting : Prepare comprehensive reports and conduct cost analyses to optimize procurement processes.
- Team Collaboration : Participate in meetings related to production planning and procurement strategy.
- Financial Reporting : Coordinate closely with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial reporting of all procurement activities.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the sheet metal and manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with the UAE market and its specific procurement requirements.
- Proficiency in purchasing software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent research and networking abilities.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A valid UAE driving license.

- Proficient in GSuite and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
