We are seeking an L1 NOC Network Security Engineer to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of network and security with a strong desire to grow and develop their technical skills in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The L1 NOC Engineer will be the first point of contact for monitoring and responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of the network and security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Incident Detection:
- Continuously monitor network and security using Solarwinds.
- Respond to alerts and incidents as they arise, ensuring quick detection and resolution of issues.
- Escalate issues to L2 or L3 engineers as necessary, following established protocols.
- Perform troubleshooting on network and security issues, including Switches, routers, firewall, Load balancer, MPLS link, WAN links etc.
- Use remote tools to access and troubleshoot network and security devices.
- Document all incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the incident management system.
- Categorize and prioritize incidents based on severity and impact.
- Ensure timely communication with affected stakeholders and provide updates until the issue is resolved.
- Follow up on escalated issues to ensure they are being addressed promptly by higher-level support teams.
- Assist in routine network and security maintenance tasks, including applying patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Support in performing health checks on network and security devices and critical devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on network performance, incidents, and other key metrics.
- Collaborate with L2 and L3 engineers, as well as other IT teams, to resolve complex issues and improve network reliability.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing issues, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Be willing to work in a 24/7 shift environment, providing round-the-clock support as part of the NOC team.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure coverage during off-hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in large industry monitoring network and security operations.
- Technical Skills: Experience in troubleshooting Network /Security devices Switches, routers, firewall, Load balancer, MPLS link, WAN links etc.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with network and security monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and incident management systems (ServiceNow).
- Troubleshooting:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on network and security issues.
- Communication:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document and explain technical issues clearly.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead with expertise in network security to oversee security infrastructure and ensure the protection of systems and data for our client. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of network security protocols, risk management, and incident response strategies.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and implementation of network security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security solutions.
- Prepare reports on security status, incidents, and compliance metrics.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills in network security.
- Lead a team of IT support professionals, overseeing daily operations.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite support services
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects.
- Provide escalation support and ensure SLA adherence.
- Drive process improvements and optimize resource utilization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in network securitywith 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with project management practices (PMP or ITIL preferred).
- Police clearance is mandatory for UAE.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage teams and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other network security technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of security incident handling and routing protocols.
- Expertise in disaster recovery and Azure Site Recovery.
- Familiarity with voice technologies like Avaya.
- Experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
